Poor Jim was up all night long with sinus issues. I'm trying to talk him into going in to see a doctor, but it's like tryiing to get the sun to rise in the west. He has a lot to do this week and probably will still work late tonight and tomorrow. Stubborn man.
I hope you all are well! Here's something I posted on fb today ... it made me smile, and I hope it does for you, too!
Remember when we used to say to do everything with ZEAL? I think it was a Kelly-ism. We need to bring that back!

Morning~
Reminds me of Maine when the farmers would plant potatoes - the smell was atrocious! No thank you!
Off to a site visit and home early afternoon.
After blowing it on Sunday football - I think I recovered and have been OP (or under) since.
Sam - any luck strong-arming the dealer?
Lisa - you are a beacon to all of us!
Raine? Did you all freeze in the Florida region? HOw's progress?

Morning BBB
Touching story Lisa. You have found the right path in life.
It takes about 3 hours to pack and load the car. Tons of that it food as we have had several good Costco visits on discontinued items (giant can of planters peanuts for $3 vs $14) so we have multiples of several Staples. We do plan to send a suitcase of stuff we don't use back with dad. Goal for Europe is one big backpack and one little one each. Only kitchen items I plan to take is a parking knife or two. I have half a suitcase here.
We are misltu settled in. This place is super nice but has too much stuff. There are probably 20 bottles if clearners under both sinks making not so much room for our stuff. I need to organize them and then there is room. We over look a nature preserve and can see mountains and city skyline.0 -
Good Morning BBB.
I've been MIA due to house stuff - we are spending a ton of time on details now that we are close to the finish line. BS and money issues but we got this.
Love you all and I'll be back in a routine of joining you all soon.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
LOL, Lisa. Yep. Very touching story about the man who is dying. Skip is right, you have serious impact with your energy, kindness, and compassion.
I was really disappointed with the conference call about new hire. Evidently it was about her concerns working for us. Whether I would allow her to practice how she wants to practice and she even intimated that she felt we weren't doing a very good job after she shadowed one morning. We will still offer her the job because we need a body. But I won't be upset if she passes on the offer.
What do you think of using TrueCar, Sam? I see the commercials, but haven't ever talked to someone that has actually used it.
Am thinking of buying seeds and starting my own tomato plants this spring, Bob.
Kelly, rotting radishes sounds kinda gross. Better than living downwind from the Oklahoma State Swine Barn while I was in Vet school.

Good morning
Lisa, yes, with “zeal and enthusiasm!” I think skip started it. Jim needs to get to the dr.
Raine, I’m so excited for you and Tom. I hope to see it in May?
Lee, nothing like a newbie telling you how to do stuff. Ha. Dh and I were just talking about this very subject over the weekend. New police officer telling Dh how he should do something. Didn’t go over well.
Steph. We will be there in 10 days.
I’ll cbl0 -
Kelly - definitely - drinks by our pool in May!0

Good morning BBB crew.
Up at 4 this morning - the hip thing, again.
DW has a PT appointment, so we have to leave the house at 7. Nasty weather, too, with steady rain all day.0 -
Yes, ".....with zeal and enthusiasm...."0

Good morning.
Today is the annual policy conference that the group I work for puts on. I have no real responsibilities, so I'm supposed to smile and be nice to people for THREE DAYS. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.
Just remember, Lee. You were one young and right about everything too. 😉0 -
LOL Lisa. You made my day indeed.
Good grief Lee how times have changed.
Stay warm, dry, and comfy all. Out for walk in the wetlands in showery weather (go figure).0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Shopping run to Athens yesterday with a stop at Sam's. No, not the BBB member, the wholesale club. I think we have a lifetime supply of TP and tissues now.
- Good luck with the new hire Lee. Ya might need to remind her she's a part-timer. Then again maybe someone on the call made too much out of something she said. Too many cooks.
- Kelly, I was on the Oconee River Basin Walk to Emmaus #17 March of 2018. Our reunion group meets every Tuesday morning. I have not helped out on any marches yet.
- I looked at new TVs at Sam's yesterday. I can't believe how cheap they are now compared to just a few years ago. But, I have the old TV connected to cable via the RF jack and the DVD connected through the component jacks so who needs HDMI ports. It would have really bothered my a few years ago but I'm much more mellow these days.
- Welcome to the new digs Steph. I hope you get to move in soon Raine.
- Oh, I grew up near Sanford, Florida the Celery Capital of Somewhere. Nothing like the smell of rotting celery.

Dealership has agreed to give $5,000 discount plus all factory rebates and credits on purchase of 2020 when they get vehicle we want; thankfully we are not in a hurry, what we have meets our needs just not DW's wants.
True Car prices were higher than those I negotiated, dealer pays True Car about $400.00 for each car sold through them. If connected to USAA negotiate price then provided they are a USAA/True Car dealer one can get 1/2 percent off interest rates which puts interest rate at 2.46% where Mass Mutual is guaranteeing me 4% on my 401 cash account
Get Jim a nedi pot, really helps sinuses
Dennis, I heard Butch say would like to have you help
Subbing at school tomorrow for band teacher, most subs have learned to stay away from art, music, and vocational classes
Continues cool with rain coming in tomorrow night, will stay above freezing
