    Good morning BBB.

Dennis, thank you for the countdown. Yeppers. 2 days. Woo hoo. Pretty much all packed. Need to throw in a raincoat just in case.

Steph, your new adventure with Ron is exciting. How did you get this gig? How long are you house sitting? Then what?

Raine, any new pics? Getting very executor you and Tom.

Have a great day. I’ll cbl

    Morning BBB

We joined a site called trusted house sitters. There is a small yearly fee and homeowners offer up their houses in exchange for pet and house care. The one we have booked is for 9 days. At this point we are applying for lots around Denver for anything longer than 3 days. This is all about references so hoping to build that up so we can get the longer stays in cool places. Hoping to hook together several during March and April. We have two interviews tonight.

Today is mammogram and dentist for Ron. We have been warned that appointments mean nothing here so might be a long day.

    Morning BBB

    Up and at em!

So enough of these house sitting jobs obviously could save you lots in housing money monthly Steph! Nice!

One doc to come and my taxes are done.

Finshed my resume this week too. Hadnt had one in 20yrs. Feels great to get that done.

Next is doing more volunteering in some different areas, dabble in some other interests I've had. All part of writing my future next chapters.

    Enjoy your day BBB!

    Morning~

Long day and long week. Today and tomorrow equally brutal. Could use a trek to PR for a mini BBB reunion and relaxation

Raine - your countdown is exciting too!

Steph - you're going to love CO! What a cool gig!

Was good on points yesterday and didn't blow it at the Capitals game. Yay, me!

Have a great day, BBB! ~Skipper

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Mammograms are important. Good friend of ours just found out she has breast cancer but it was found very early and is quite treatable. These are the folks who were planning to hike the Appalachian Trial this year so that plan is on hold.
    • A number of the guys in the 'hood shoot 22 rifles at a local range. Sounds like fun so I am off this morning trying it out and trying to determine what gun to purchase. My current pick is a Ruger 10/22 Carbine (21194). Anyone knowledgeable on these things? I don't want to spend a fortune but then again don't want to find out I should have spent more.
    • I was almost good at a banquet yesterday but succumbed to the peach cobbler. Overall it wasn't bad. Scale still heading in the right direction.
    • We must be getting close to move in day in South Florida?!?

    Good morning.

My understanding on guns is that the best one for you is the one you've trained and are comfortable with, Bill.

Long day on tap today with meetings attacked all over culminating in a showing of Miss Virginia in our theater. I'll be sticking out early on that because I have to be up early to get on a plane to Chicago tomorrow.

Had better than expected appt w my oncologist Wed. My off the chart WBC from lymphoma was back down to its more usual level (still high but less than a wonky blood test I had in Dec)
Have had some flooding rains in our part of PacNW Tue morning but ok now.
Hope all have good medical tests and results.
Stay warm and dry. Off for wetland walk or is that redundant.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Dennis, the 10/22 is the preeminant plinking .22. There is a ton of available after-market accessories, too. That said, it depends on what you are planning to do with it, too. If the goal is to have fun knocking over cans and ringing bells, then that is a great choice, I'd say.

DGS is coming over for a few hours, today, so his mom can get some errands done. So DW and I won't get our walk in until this afternoon, when the rain has come back in. So it goes.

    Mornin' BBB.

Hard to go wrong with the Ruger 10/22. Have fun! I like the Sporter version.

    Great news from oncologist, Bob!

    Good Afternoon,
    TGIF Eve,
Subbed today and again tomorrow, 8 teachers out and only 2 subs; elementary school had 26 teachers out; they say flu is terrible but in classes I'm subbing not seeing it very students out.
Yoga tonight then through with yoga till Monday morning.
    Good news Bob,
Safe travels, Kelly and Gary, Lou, Mary and I believe Tom is headed North which is good timing on his part to allow Raine to handle move-in
I will not go to a buffet until I get at least 5.2 more pounds off, but will still have a whole lot more to go.
