I had my physical today and I'm in pretty good health with the exception of my BMI being 29. Doctor and I both agree that things would be better if carbs would count as vegetables but for now more green veggies for me. Also, increase iron in my diet as I'm slightly anemic. My lungs are clear just the cough that's hanging on and it will still take a good amount of time for that to go away. Cleared to workout in small segments of time. She loved to hear about the Walk at Home program.1 -

You had a good month considering you've had the flu. I know so many people that have some form of it. And now we have to worry about Corona virus. I had a flu shot and my doctor is fairly sure it was the only reason why I wasn't throwing up but had all the other signs. I'm in my 7th week. My husband hasn't been able to have a conversation with me in almost 2 months without me coughing through it. I just upped my Vitamin C intake.
I just checked my mileage for the month, I'm at 61.01. The goal of 65 is in sight with 3 days to go.2 -

Well, I did it. I set my goal for March as 30 minutes a day and tried it out today to see if I could do it. I managed to not cough until the end!!! Woo Hoo!!! Progress is being made!!!
@Deeder522 -You just made my day!!! I have had the flu shot twice and both times got so sick with the flu that I have not bother with them since. Even the flu I got this year (which is the first time I have contracted it since 2001 when I was 48) did not come with the stomach issues like when I have the shot. I thought maybe being over 65 might change how I react to the shot, but I will not be at the college next winter and will not be exposed to so many viruses. Maybe that will be enough. Thanks for sharing your experience with me so I can give this more thought!
@AnnofB -It is much harder coughing this stuff up at 67 than it was at 48 that is for sure!!! :laugh: Thank goodness I was in good shape when it started! So far, I am not too worried about the corona virus as there are no cases in MI at all. However, there are cases in Wisconsin and Illinois and they are much closer to Michigan than California so I am keeping an eye on it. I need to get into the rural mountains of NY where the concentration of people is far less :laugh: Meh if it is not one thing it is another these days. Congratulations on meeting your goal!!!! :drinker:
