MFP fitbit calorie adjustment way lower than recording on fitbit itself

    The calorie adjustment is rarely going to correspond directly to the calories burnt during an activity.

    This is because your adjustments only begin when you've exceeded the amount of activity MFP estimated for your day based on the activity level you set up in your goals.

    So if you choose "active," for example, you will only begin to get adjustments *after* you've moved enough to burn more calories than MFP estimated an active person would use. If you want to see larger adjustments, you can set your activity level lower. If you want to see smaller adjustments (or potentially no adjustments), you can set your activity level higher.
