Ok so I've been using my Fitbit versa now, connected to MFP since beginning of january. Except for some connection difficulties, its been working great,

However, these last three days, it is no longer giving me any calorie adjustments, even tho i can see the steps going up.

For example:
Monday 10th of february: I walked 15 078 steps (including zumba) and got a calorie adjustment of plus 771. It says fitbit burnd calories 2619, based on fitbit projection. MFP burnt calories 1848 based on 0 calories from exercise on MFP.

So far so good, but then yesterday:

Monday 17th of february: I walked 14 534 (including zumba) with a calorie adjustment of 52 calories. It says fitbit burnd calories 2567, based on fitbit projection. MFP burnt calories 2515 based on 658 calories from exercise on MFP.

However, I have not logged any exercise on MFP, and not been given these 658 calories ( not from mfp or fitbit). Under excersise in my diary it only says the fitbit tracker calorie adjusment based on 14543 steps. so 52 extra calories. And I was starving, cus usually i Like eating my exercise calories back. So yesterday, I was about 350 calories over my goal, while i Think i should have been about 250 calories under, if I had gotten to eat back my calories?

I have not changed any other settings, everything is the same. I've tries to disconnect the apps and connect again, no difference.

Even today, so far I've only walked about 3000 steps, and it's already given me 30 more calories to eat. So why did i not get any yesterday?

Help, any suggestions?

“They” know there’s an issue with syncing data from FitBit and are trying to fix it. In the meantime the advice is to sit tight and NOT to try to delink /relink your device.
It happens from time to time. It’s annoying but it usually gets solved fairly quickly.

(At the moment for me, MFP is “talking” to FitBit, but not the other way around.)

    Excellent write up.

As long as MFP for that day has some exercise calories it sees on it's side - the math is off.

There have been issues like that before where what is visible to you isn't what is being used by the system.

Shoot, one time Fitbit or MFP had a kg or lb issue - it displayed the weight in lbs, but doing some quick math you could tell it didn't convert it to kg to do math with, it kept the lb figure but treated it like it was kg.
People had to switch their weight to kg, and then back to lbs to correct it.

What you might do for that past day - enter a workout, of that many calories.
See if it doubles the exercise calories on the details screen.
    Then delete the workout.
Maybe it'll make MFP see there is no other workout it should be including calories from in it's math.

The problem is this is far enough in the past it may not work now.
