Good Morning BBB.
Just two more days of contractors and we should have our house to ourselves. Not sure when those days will happen but certainly sometime next week.
Do good out there everyone.

Mornin' BBB.
Having the house completed and to yourselves, priceless.
12 miler, impressive Dave. I'll try and get a 3 miler in today.
Trazodone and/or gabapentin sometimes help geriatric pooches sleep better.
I do not recommend getting a cat. DW tells me I love the cat, but not when it blows up my early morning sleep.
Congrats on getting back to pre-cruise weight, Kel.
BBB OP ;-)0 -
Morning~
Congrats to the losers.
Contractor roulette. I remember those days with shear frustration....Hang in there, Raine. This too shall pass.
Got the CD overnighted to ATL - doubt I'll get more news tomorrow - but likely next week. Ugh.
Busy day ahead.

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Rare opportunity to sleep in this morning.
- Congratulations on returning to pre-cruise weight Kelly. One night of wings and beer is fixable.
- Remember the good times with your Mom Steph.
- It's been quite a journey Raine, from deciding to put the old house on the market until kicking the last contractor out 1300 miles away. WTG
- We gave Emma her own room (assuming there's no guest) a couple of years ago. It's working out much better. Of course she can't hear a thing.
- Have a great day BBB.

Good morning BBB crew.
It's been 37 years since my last Miller, Sam.
Got our taxes done, yesterday. We're paying a few hundred. That's ok. We try to get withholding so it comes as close to even, as possible. I had fun talking to the young soldiers detailed to the tax center.
Rita has her biopsy surgery, tomorrow. We have to stay close to the phone, today, to get her report time.0 -
Good Afternoon BBB - I so enjoyed my 24hours of no work yesterday. Though I didn't make it out to the country greenhouses I wanted to go visit, the temps read ZERO outside mostly all day! I just stayed home and domesticated, relaxed, did some chores, and paperwork for me, etc. etc.
Lunch break! Im having mercy on my co-workers and eating cold roasted brussel sprouts and carrots. They are fine cold ad the brussels don't smell up the place just in case there is a non lover....
Yes, Im still at my same ol' sales manager day job. Things are chugging along, slow, but seems cash flows keeps moving out a couple months at a time. We are out til August now, I have a couple irons in the fire for bigger orders, so we'll see. Some weekly orders keep us above water... owner is doing nothing nadda, barely even calls in much less puts in effort in imo working or doing anything here. My part time gig at Tax office nights and weekends shift is going towards funding my small business startup and my fun fun money for the summer glamping season. SO is starting to look for a used pontoon again. Everything out here for sale is either too junkie or too expensive, nothing in the mid range, just yet!
(((Steph )))) p.s. how cool for your nephew, fun to follow!!!
(((Rita)))
Yay Raine, is the RV stored now, or for sale or what ya doing with that?
WTG on the painting Lou! You are earning attaboy honeydo points ?!
Bad Kitty and Miss Sally too, sham sham on you both! Kelly you are a wl rock star!
What's sleeping in to you, Dennis 7am?
Hope all will be taken care of with your back pain, Skip, and you sell you jeep!
Take care BBB! oxoxox0 -
Well wishes for Rita (and you too)0

Enjoy your beautiful, quiet, PRIVATE home, Raine!
Sorry about your sleep, Lee. That would be frustrating.
((((Skip)))) Waiting is the worst.
Congrats on that loss, Kelly! You're amazing!
((((Steph))))) You are so blessed to have had such a great mom that you do miss her. I hope that today you remembered moments that made you smile.
Go, Lou! What color did you go with? I love painting.
How's your health lately, Bob?
Hi Sam!
Dave, you're totally my hero!
Good for you for having a quiet day, Mary! That sounds PERFECT. I so love reading your posts ... you are bursting with positivity!
I had a woman visit my workshop today. She was a former WW Coach from South Dakota, and she recognized me from my blog days. She was just going to weigh and go, but she stayed for the workshop to see me. It made me feel so good!
Then I raced to the courthouse to be there for the kid I'd told you about. He was so scared ... all teary and trying really hard to hide it. He was facing up to a year, and he ended up with 5 days plus probabation. I really like this judge ... she seems to genuinely want the best for people. It was still hard to watch them take him away, though ... it felt like they were taking one of my own kids. Jim has been tearing up all afternoon over it, too (he's getting more tenderhearted the older he gets!). But, I know God is in control and this kid will be okay. He told me before we went in that he's decided he wants to go into a career where he can help other kids like him, possibly ministry, and do what we're doing. I hope that, in the next 5 days, he spends some really focused time in prayer.
Bible study tonight. We'll pray for him.1
