I HAD to jump the gun and make sure this video was at the top of a thread to give everyone a smile .... I am also posting it in the What's On Your Mind? thread so that people can refind it any time they want to ....
a little dog named Pluto addresses the internets concerning how to cope with the whole COVID-19 personal coping strategy thing.

March 18
Exercised: Yes (5km walk in 39 mins - hills)
Tracked: Yes
Budget: Yes
Slightly slower walk. Could not push as hard as usual.
Daughter had a rough day, but I managed to mostly calm her down. She is still struggling with a lot.
Thankful that my work is usually done from home and that my family is secure.9 -
Yes x 3. Just. Still coughing. The baby was wheezing earlier which stressed me right out but he's settled down now. Feeling very anxious but relieved at least that my husband is no longer working in locked down London but from home. Going to have to dig deep to work out how to get through this without going a bit crazy e.g. Limiting how much I check the news, scheduling home workouts, how to not eat all the food we have! Anyone who's feeling more zen about this, please pass on your tips!9

Just saw this. A bit more positive than my negative!
I needed this today! Thank you!
It basically sums up my thoughts on the Coronavirus. I've stressed myself out to the point of feeling nauseous, needlessly.
As most of y'all know, I work as a transport manager for our hospital. Our county confirmed its first case last Friday. I spent the weekend in a near state of panic and actually CRIED after finding out two additional employees had been exposed to someone getting tested. (I'd had four masked late Thursday.) All are clear, as both exposures were negative patients.
I've been successfully walking into work taking it a day at a time, while my mind is living in the worst case scenario.
We have had shutdowns of schools and dining in at restaurants in our state, we are screening all visitors, closed the cafeteria to the public and are set to start screening employees coming to work in the morning. That's a lot of changes in less than a week's time.
I believe the trick is in the above image. One day (step) at a time.
Husband is recovering nicely from the flu (yay for Tamiflu and cough pearls), so there's that.
Exercise 20 minutes? Yes! Ninety-nine of incorporating walking workouts into my day, though I am missing my morning leisurely because of social distancing, and have given up my 2pm walks with my bestie for the same reason. (She is also experiencing reduced hours due to no more elective surgeries.) I haven't put my VR headset on since Sunday because I'm just beat.
Stayed under calories? Yes.
Logged everything? Yes.
No passes used. Yet.

Exercise? Outside again for a 28 minute walk. Had to skirt (>6 ft) around a fellow walker. He probably thought we were afraid of him rather than protecting him from us.
Within my calorie plan? Yes. Turns out that fighting a virus (whatever virus it is) uses a lot of calories. My weight was down way too low this morning. Appetite is returning so I am trying to eat a bit extra.
Tracked everything? Yes.
Feeling better today. Finally able to breathe almost normally. Still have to rest a lot, but on the mend!8 -

I was at that point going on the last of last week (weight dropping due to little appetite when I had a cold despite only minimal exercise) Now back to the more common 0.2 pounds per most days. So yes DO try to make a point of bringing your intake back closer to recommended levels even if not that hungry yet. Body needs fuel to heal.3 -
Yes x 3. 25 minutes of running4

Everything you mentioned (limiting how much you check the news; scheduling home workouts etc) is great.
Remember, we are in a better state technologically to keep in contact with others than ever before - not only phone but text, email, see other faces while respecting distance requirements via Skype or Facetime or suchlike.2 -

Climbed up to 8500 level. My favorite road. First of the season. Good to know I can still do it.
Mr Wizard call it 1600 cals. That seems a bit of a stretch. Didn't eat all of it.
Buddy comes over tomorrow. Wife and Buddy is what my social circle is down to.
He came over yesterday. Tried to get in the tub with his clothes on.
Hope Buddy hasn't got it or doesn't get it.
First couple hours, nobody on the road but me.
Going down seen a couple of cars. Didn't get close to anyone.3 -

18th March:
Managed full day #1 of lockdown.
Did 20 minutes low impact aerobics with a Rosemary Conley DVD. It's harder to get the steps right off a screen than it is in real classes. Still, I'll keep practising, I have all the time in the world.
Managed 30-odd minutes walking to and from the shops. Shelves are largely re-stocked. Police are patrolling and checking. My partner was one of 21 local people who was fined as he'd gone out with the wrong paper, knowing it was wrong, and interfered with the police arresting some drunks. He thinks he can be clever and just go out and walk as usual. I got his son to call him from London and put him straight as he was not listening to me.
Calories: Yes, stayed under. I've got plenty of healthy food in the house and loads of time to create nice meals.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
My 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle is progressing, so is my knitting. It's jolly boring, but if it works and stops people dying ...

My office is still functioning as things quietly shut down. Driving home at the prime traffic time was disconcerting. The traffic load was scant, like an evening time. I am in the fragile cohort of seniors with respiratory disease. Nonetheless, I do not see how our world economies can tolerate being brought to a shut down.
The best news of the day was that more medical research teams are reporting success in stopping Covid-19 with certain existing medications. This article adds to the good news that @craigo3154 shared with us a couple of days ago.
