FRIENDLY REMINDER: Daylight savings time for some of us so spring forward!7 -
Yes x3 today.
I'm going to call yesterday pass 1/3 only because by the end of the day I was too lazy to track my supper and snack carefully..I'm sure it was a good day overall, but for accountability's sake I'll take a pass6 -
Enjoyed, if that's the word, the stories about food-pushing friends and family. If it wasn't so important, you'd laugh! I think all my friends try to do healthy now, minimising even their alcohol intake, which makes life a lot easier for me. Tonight, however, I'm going out for drinks with friends and I have planned a glass of Chardonnay into today's food. No more booze then for the rest of the week.
Yesterday, 7th March: I was working in Marseille and only managed 20 minutes walking to and from the venue. Ten minutes fast downhill (the train was late) and 10 minutes more slowly back uphill (I was tired).
Calories: Yes, under, even with shop bought food and factored in large whisky, which I really enjoy after a long day's examining and travelling.
Logged it all.
Had to examine two Chinese students with face masks and one Italian who was coughing and spluttering throughout the exam. Scrubbed my hands thoroughly; luckily the University has finally had the soap dispensers in the Ladies mended!
Have a great Sunday everyone!6 -
Yes to all three
Bike, body strength exercises (planks, pushups, weighted sit ups, etc), yoga, tons of walking
Calories barely made it, for 3 hours of exercise and 23,000 steps it seems like I should've had more calories on my fitbit but even if I'd gone over I've cut calories for dinner and dessert tonight earlier in the week, just really didn't want to see my day in the red!
Everything is logged, darnit I forgot my tea again! It will be logged as soon as I post this.6 -
exercise: walked to conference hall & back >20Min
feed: 1350 +117 - 1460 = 7 (so close)
conference days always challenging because of the reduced running/gym time.
Networking events post seminar/workshops have no nutritional value

Completely understand and applaud you in your move towards a more positive life. I always think of the song "Turn, Turn, Turn" and the line "To every thing there is a season" when people pass in and through my life. Some stay a lifetime and others were meant to be a season (or two).3 -

My wife and I took the dog for a walk “around the block” which, here in the sticks, ended up to be nearly 6 miles. The sun was out, but it was only around 40 degrees. Nice to finally get a walk in the outdoors.6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Yes. Practically all of fit-bit bonus calories uneated
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
Yes.
I have decided over the course of the week that so long as I re-sync my fit-bit every night, I won't log my wallking-exercice separately, as it is captured by the fit-bit steps. If I use the stationary bike, I WILL log it separately.

I am surprised to have another pass day with all “no’s.” My adult daughter came in to visit and between her all carb diet and hanging with her I didn’t pay attention to me. I think that is what it comes down to- paying attention to ourselves.2

@readyornot1234 such wise words. And yes, it's always a smile and a polite, "No thank you."
Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement.
I was interested to google "people pleaser and weight loss." Wow there's a lot of information and research on it. It's a definite problem for many!2 -
