It's a little nutso where I am. I'm in the Seattle area. I've been working from home all week, at my employer's recommendation. Now they've officially closed the office and are requiring us to work remotely. Two of our employees were in a client meeting with someone who had severe flu-like symptoms. I don't think that person was tested for the virus, but now that tests are supposed to become more readily available, maybe we'll find out more. Kind of freaky. I set my alarm for 5:30 to go grocery shopping this morning, and it was a zoo anyway. There wasn't even a grocery cart available at first. Check-out lines were to the back of the store and wrapped around an aisle. It was crazy! Lots of empty shelves. I eventually found an empty abandoned car and put my basket of groceries in there and went back to get the things I passed over because I obviously couldn't fit everything in a basket. Lots of items were wiped out (milk, eggs, bread). Hopefully the supply we already had on hand will be sufficient. This sure is an interesting time. Let's hope it doesn't get too much worse before it gets better. Take care!0 -

I didn’t know you were in Seattle. I’m in NYC and do fundraising events for a non profit . I don’t even know now what that will look like. All the people hoarding and over-shopping are monsters. They are clearing shelves out and creating a crisis. Think of all the people who can’t afford to shop in bulk and the fear and insecurity they must have.
Anyway, stay healthy!0 -
And I didn't know you were in NYC.
You stay healthy too. We'll get through this. I think.0 -
