    Morning BBB

Going venture to the big town today 15,000 to get supplies. The little grocery near here is ok but they don't have a great selection. Dad needs most of his toiletries.

I'm planning to get enough to not go back for 3-5 weeks with weely trips to the smaller market. Hopefully we are over the panic buying and they will be stocked. I so far haven't seen the empty shelves.

    Take care everyone

    Good morning

RIP Kenny Roger's, my music selection will be in his honor via sonos today.

Rumor mill has it we will go into a mandatory 2 week at home shut in here for all businesses Sun. Gov closed more yesterday. So I stopped for a few things on my way home from work for a few things. So did SO elsewhere so we're good, but shelves bare for cleaning, meats, dairy, breads, paper products still.

I'm going to get a few crafting supplies shortly.

    Be well, be safe BBB

    Good morning BBB crew.

Living here in the earthquake zone, we have always kept a supply of staples on hand. We could go for a couple months without shopping, I think, though things would get mighty bland. On the other hand, if we run out of rice Rita might get hard to live with, so I hope the food situation stabilizes in the next few weeks. :D

Like other states we are in the "stay home stay safe" mode. A bit difficult to completely understand the precise meaning. It is clear that social distancing is the mandate. Trips to pharmacy, grocery stores, and medical are fine. All bars, restaurants, and much more are shuttered up. Restaurants can serve take-out only. I think if folks do the social distancing we may, just may, not need more draconian measures to curb the spread.
Some 24 hour groceries have gone to closing at night for cleaning and restocking which makes sense. I don't envy the powers that be who need to have folks take this seriously but not panic. Sounds almost like a contradiction to many.
Good luck all and stay safe!

    Good morning BBB friends.
    • Day 9 of house arrest and I must say I am enjoying it.
    • Sorry to hear about your nephew Skip.
    • This is a good time to be rural Steph. Enjoy the simple life.
    • Back to my book. Fortunately it is part of a series so as long as Kindle will keep selling them to me I'm good.

Bob, your area sounds exactly like mine.

I went to do a clean out of a house so new people could move in. I was to start yesterday. Painter still there at 4pm and he had another coat to go. Got there to his big *kitten* mess he left for me. Really ticked me off. Dh and I would never do such a thing. Oh well. It’s done.

    Sorry about your nephew

    Steph. Good plan.

Shelves still bare here. I haven’t found spaghetti for days now. Gee

We do have 1/2 beef so we’re set.

    Be smart bbb.

    Good Afternoon,
Many shelves still bare, they are stocking at night and per clerks they have had some of same folks in grabbing everything they can. We like fresh produce, meats and dairy; folks don't seem to want fresh veggies and fruits. DW brought home a loaf of bread today, should last us a week. She said rice and pasta empties within an hour of opening, DW being dietetic we eat few starches.
Done WW visual meeting this morning, about 1/3rd normal.
    Praying for Lee and Dad
Back and leg still very tender, urgent care called; told them if still same Monday will come in if they are not packed, believe most in there for allergies but why take a chance; they must have sent report to rhematologist they sent an e-mail telling me to make an appointment, I don't intend to go into Atlanta unless an emergency.
DGS being baptized in morning only family allowed in church, will be videoed and added to their service broadcast. Our church is broadcasting services also.

Walmart wasn't near as bad as expected. Only one kind of lentils but I'll survive. Not sure if that is always or if just sold out.

Have a Kenny Roger vinyl I'll sell ya. I just posted it on the local buy sell trade site.
