    Today's Goals -- April 11
Log all food and beverages honestly - try for lower carb choices
Drink at least 8 cups of water
    Do morning stretches
Do at least 2 5 minute walking sessions
    Do 30 minute chair yoga
Find one thing funny and share it
Get outside if weather permits -- supposed to be mid-40's and sunny so should be able to get out for a bit

Need to input grocery order for delivery Friday. Always takes twice as long as I think it should.done; order will be delivered on Sunday.
Would like to do one load of laundry: wash, dry, fold/hang, put away -- didn't do yest; maybe today. lol ... still not done; maybe Monday? LOL

Down 5 lbs for my second week ... YEA!! I really tried to choose foods with lower carbs since that's one area I seem to always go over my daily limit. As I was working on my food order at Walmart, I heard myself mumbling "veg above ground best", "berries not bananas", etc. :p

Stay safe everyone! Have a good day. :)

Happy Friday!! Any fun plans for Easter? I am attempting to make homemade French bread for the first time. I love fresh bread so hopefully it turns out.

Pretty boring this year. We usually gather at my daughters for Easter dinner. But I will FaceTime my granddaughters so that counts for something.

I know it stinks we can’t gather with family this year. I hope you find a way to feel together that day. I’m trying my best to still make it a special day for my kiddos, we usually get dresssd up and go to a fancy brunch, so I’m going to try to recreate it at home. Definitely feels different though.

It is hard not to give in to the stress eating. Good job on the loss!

    Check-in

    Yesterday's achievements:

    Steps:8602

    .
    .1. Core workout video yes
    2. Tidy kitchen. Yes but it seems like it never stays that way.
    3. Plan lunch. Yes
    4. Fold laundry. no! We'll soon be living out of laundry baskets!
    5. 8500 steps yes!

    Today's goals:

    1. Core workout video
    2. 9000 steps
    3. Spend time with Hubby

Easter- We don't have much going either. I had a spiral sliced ham in my freezer so I'm thinking about making that for lunch tomorrow. Anyone have a favorite way to cook one? I was thinking of trying the slow cooker, but not sure how to do it.

Otherwise, we'll be listening to a sermon in the morning. And I think it's supposed to be rainy, so we'll just be at home and inside, likely.

Hopefully we can come up with something to do. My husband doesn't do well with just sitting around.

    Have a happy day, y'all!

Hi all. I have not fallen off the face of the planet; I just feel like it. I apologize for disappearing, and I hope to get back on the wagon and do better. I have no excuses other than everything in the world being out of whack, but I have let everyone else's needs come before my own during this pandemic, and I am paying the price.

Today, I got out BY MYSELF and walked my fastest pace, which isn't as fast as it used to be, LOL, but it felt absolutely great. Got in two miles at that pace, then came home and have been working in the garden and thinking about the weight I've gained and the amount of TV I've been watching. I decided this has to STOP. So, I'm back. Thank you, @lindamtuck2018 for messaging me to check on me. I appreciate you bringing me back to my senses!

My goal for the rest of this month is to get back to where I started at the beginning of April or maybe a tad below that. But my BIGGER goal is to put my health and wellbeing higher on my priority list than it has been of late. Looking for BALANCE here.

I really enjoy walking outside. I have been using map my walk for getting my distance on the walks. I want to increase my distance a little everyday. Yesterday, I walked 2 km and turned around figuring when I got home I would have walked 4 km. When I got home, map my walk said my total distance was 2.9 km. I am thinking the program must be glitchy. Is there a better program to use?

I have used Endomondo for probably 10 years. I feel it is pretty accurate, and you can track lots of activities on it. If it matters, it syncs easily with Apple Watch and also with MyFitnessPal.

Hi is there any way I can get your daily steps to add to the spreadsheet? We add them in daily and the spreadsheet does all the tally’s for us. Thank you ❤️

. Very different type of celebration today; just my granddaughter(T) and I, no large family gathering, no hugs, no hands clasped around a table for prayer, no big family dinner. We'll need to dismiss what was and focus on what it is today. I'll be roasting a chicken and sweet potatoes for dinner ... planning for one glass of wine. :)
. I have a grocery delivery scheduled today at 9 am. Was amazed when it gave me the Sunday option; felt sure it would be Monday. Because the driver is working on this special holiday, I plan to tip them large. I have my sanitizing spray, sanitary wipes, rinsing sink, etc all ready. Everything goes on right side of sinks until sanitized, then to left to be put away ... getting pretty proficient at this!! LOL
. Taking it easy most of the day. Maybe reading or watching a movie later. Time to just enjoy the day.

Have a blessed Easter everyone! :)

    Saturday check in
    Calories: over
    Exercise: 22 minute walk
    Water: not enough

    Steps 4/11 7,508

Saturday was a write off day. I had no control of the calories going into my mouth. I talked to my husband and we agreed I have to get a grip on my Saturday eating. No more chips, pop or m&ms. Plus yesterday, my daughter left some baking on her step for us.

    Today’s goals
    1. Stay within calorie goal
    2. Walk for 30 minutes
    3. 5000 steps
    4. Log my food

Week 3 (seems like it should be week 2 since it is the 12th but oh well)

Happy Easter everyone! He is risen!

Seems my weight loss has steadied out a bit if I calculate over a 2 week interval at about 1.5 lbs a week. I can live with that right now.

Finished the painting in my sewing room AND got my treadmill set up with the help of my hubby. Only mishap was dropping the heavy treadmill bed on my foot carrying it back to the sewing room. I have a good goose egg on the top of my foot but pretty sure it isn't broken. I am not going for an x-ray in any case (hubby says I should.) Not too swollen except right where it hit. Bruising isn't too bad and neither is the pain so no x-ray.

Cold grey day here. We turned the heat back on along with needing the lights on inside to see. Lots of thunder and lightening happening so I won't be going outside today.

I think you're all winners if u managed not to gain at least 10lbs during this week with all the stress we're living in.
