Welcome to the Captains Lounge for April!
You already have the team personnel lists on your chat threads, so I won't repeat them here. Please DO come here, though - it is the only place the moderators (aka Central Control
) can communicate with all the captains when there are things that need to be shared. So please drop by even if you don't have any requests or questions. Ideas are always welcome!
The new section of Green Weeks is now on the spreadsheet with a column to carry over the # of weeks from the previous month. Otherwise, this section is completely automatic and gives you a chance to celebrate the people who might never make it to the top 3 losers, but who lose at least a little bit, hopefully week after week. Please be sure to include them in your congratulatory messages.
Have a good April in spite of all that is going on. Let me know ANY time if there are things that I could help with, problems you are encountering, etc.

@jugar when one of our new members signed up they said their username was freshbooks. In their actual post on the registration page their name is oneregularcoffee. When I was typing their name in the weight reminders it did not pop up so I checked it out. Should I switch the name to oneregularcoffee?0

They must have changed user name - I always check them carefully when they sign up - but then if they change names, all their old posts change to the new ones also. So yes - we'll change it!0 -
@jugar cesse47 wants to move her weigh in day from Monday to Sunday. Thanks!0

@jugar cesse47 wants to be able to weigh in week 1 of the April challenge so she is going to change her weigh in day to Saturday. She will weigh in tomorrow. Thanks!1

MODERATOR'S CHALLENGE
The challenge is simple. Lose 20 lbs as a group this week.
Each team has 20+ members - so less than one pound each.
Who would like to participate?3 -
Happy Saturday!
If you notice any NWIs flagged in your spreadsheet, especially if they are red, please get in touch with them if possible to see if they are there or not. Especially if it is someone who used to be more active.
Some weights have been recorded that I do not find at all in the chat threads - can you let me know if you receive a weight by text or other external means? Then I won't flag it as NWI when I go through and search. Thanks!
Hang in there, oh Captains!1 -
@jugar I looked through all of my emails and all chatroom messages and cannot find anything from the one TrimStones member with an NWI (dillyg08)...if I entered something incorrectly, I'm sorry...don't see anything. @mulecanter did you have any requests from her? Jess0
-
of course you didn't! I wasn't clear, I see. I meant there were a few people who were not marked NWI last week. But when I search their names, there are no posts at all, so I don't know where the week 1 weights came from. It's fine if people weigh in by text or something, but it helps if I know that. Hope that's a bit clearer! Sorry1

@jugar I usually send a note to the MODS if I get an email about an emergency, etc...so I'll make sure to let you know. If you ever have a question on a specific person, please send me a message or txt me. I think you have my phone # right?

@jugar can you remove the nwi from UTmom81 please as she has weighed in.0

@jugar Please remove the nwi from Jenready on team Trimstones. Her weight was there, but not recorded for both weeks in April so far. Thanks!0

CAPTAINS
Please remember to let us know when you have a challenger that has reached a milestone.
25/50/75.... anything that you feel like celebrating!
Onederland, Twoterville, etc. All of these things are so important to celebrate. This forum might be the challenger's only form of support.
Recognitions do not have to be scale related.
Let's make an effort to recognize and reward these accomplishments.3 -
I just read in the news that instead of toilet paper, hair dye and other personal grooming products are now flying off of the shelves. Here is a new F2F group challenge. We want to see it all from you, the success stories, the greying roots, the crazy beards, the long bangs, the tussled hair. Post photos of your grooming successes, challenges or fails relating to you, your family or your pets. Maybe you have discovered your inner hairdresser or pet groomer? Maybe you went a little to crazy with the scissors? Maybe your roots are in high contrast right now? Show us what is going on!
You can post photos and commentary at the thread link here:

Have fun and we will keep this challenge going as long as you like!0 -
@jugar can you move dabbers18 from the drop list to support. She had Covid 19 and is still not 100%. She hopes to be back in May.2

Absolutely!! Anyone who ends up on the drop list who needs to move back without waiting until May is welcome during these crazy times. Support or regular - whatever works.0 -

Captains, as you can see our teams haven't been doing very well and their percentages keep going lower as our lockdown keeps getting longer. Let's really work this week to encourage and motivate our teams into driving their percentages up and to finish this month strong!0
-
All right everyone - a new Challenge is up!
Let's get going on some serious and fun strategies to rock the next week or two -
