Hello,

My name is Wendy. My journey to lose weight has proven to be a difficult one like a yo yo or a roller coaster. It was a lonely ride though I have joined a few groups on my fitness pal app. The reason for Heart Body and Soul is not only to create a space where we can engage and encourage each other, it is also a place where you can share your own stories: experiences and struggles, a place where we can learn from each other by sharing your own exercise tips and recipes. I hope that through this process we can build each other up as we travel through the journey of health and wellbeing together.
If you want to have a weekly check in where you post your weigh in information we can include this as well. For me, it is more about working to help each other out through this journey. I am also a member of a Facebook group called Healthy At The Bay. I will post app suggestions, recipes articles that I find myself or from this group.

I would like to know you so please tell me about yourself. What is your goals to become healthier? What is exercise routine and diet life like now? And what are some things you are looking to change as far as your exercise routine and diet?

    Hi,

    My name is Bill.
    I had lost quite a bit of weight over the past few years and successfully kept it off.
    Unfortunately, not being able to exercise due to some needed surgery, then recovery time from surgery, I managed to pack on some unwanted pounds. Well, and also oink, oink, eating during that time! It has been really hard getting back on track.

    Time to get serious again. I'm retired, so I have plenty of time for exercise. No excuses.

    I'm a vegetarian and eat pretty heathily, just need to cut back on calories again.

    My favorite exercise activities are; trail running, Pilates, bicycling, walking, yoga, Barre, weight lifting, spinning, and rowing.

    The name of this group, and description of it, is what caught my eye. Looking forward to being an active participant!
