Good Morning BBB.
Tom made it to Illinois in abut 20 hours - gas was cheap, he had his own sandwiches, fruit, and stuff - slept in his truck in a gas station parking lot to limit exposure. Illinois is ahead of Florida in terms of the spread of the virus.
Jack and I are hold up and getting stuff done. Gave him a bath - he is such good company.
So glad we got into our house before this all hit hard.
Do good out there & stay safe.

Mornin' BBB.
Jack is so handsome.
Chores this am. Then taking Babe to do some bird training. Billy the Greek is high risk (heart disease and diabetes) so he is SIPing, but a couple of others have birds and want to train.
Hope Skip's tummy has settled down.
My adventure in starting my garden with seeds inside is at a tipping point. I just transferred seedlings from wee 1 inch starter pots to 3 inch peat pots. Will see how many seedlings survive the transfer.

Good morning
School closed to end of the year.
I’m headed to the grocery store again for neighbors. I’m being very very cautious. I am getting a little nervous. This week and next week are to be the “big” weeks.
Cummins, which has its headquarters here in town announced a huge pay cut for employees. I already lost 1 job. Ugh. We will survive. It just stinks for everyone!
Raine, I saw that police were stopping cars that are NOT from Florida and telling them to turnaround at the state line. Is this true??
Stay safe and healthy friends. You all mean a great deal to me!!!0 -
Morning~
A full day on couch watching Netflix was just what was needed. Did to a telemedicine consult and got some Zofran. That seemed to help. POINT: BEWARE of takeout! I'm convinced I got some undercooked chicken in carryout Alfredo! Feeling a bit better but still no appetite!
BEAUTIFUL out today - want to go for a ride - but like Momma Moody - just playing it VERY CAUTIOUS and not trying to expose unnecessarily. Did go through car wash this morning.
This next week its going to be rough. Cabin Fever is starting to get on people! Be smart. Be safe.
Glad Tom made it okay. Sucks he has to sleep in truck. Poor guy! HJ is such a photog!
BTW - TWO POPES was a great movie! I never knew.

Morning BBB
Thankful Tom got to his IL shop safely, I assume he has a bed there to sleep and rest at? Hopefully more like a little apt for him to hang out alone there at the shop and do his thing, I bet he has it all figured out!
I reviewed Two Popes for ya Skipper when I saw it via the MKE Film Festival in Jan! It was interesting wasn't it!
I had a bad dream this early morning after my 5am wake up and the Corona was in it - uuggghhh. Likely cuz I talked on the phone with my friend who was in Mexico with her friend that passed away last week after testing positive, (I'll spare you all the details as they are not good) and think that was obviously on my mind. So Im churching online at 10 to pray for his family, and in hopes to get a bright light on my mind and shake it off. Not to mention churching is just good for me anytime, esp. these times, as I pray for us all!
Making bacon right now, yummmm. Some for breakfast with an easy over egg, and the rest will go into seven layer salad. For our side with baby back ribs first at 250F in the oven for 5hours, then on the grill sauced. Such a weight loss type of meal - yikes. A walk is in order this afternoon too. Im going to go over and chalk a welcome home note on the driveway of the littles, they get to come home today after 3 weeks ways at grandparents upnorth.
Sam, please feed my garden soul with some photos of your yard if you can
Have a great day BBB! God Bless us all! #stayhome #besafe #flattenthecurve #godblessamerica0 -
Morning BBB
Headed out of county for the first time in weeks. Delivering table to driveway and waving at sister and family. Will be sad not to play with them but better safe than sorry. Will hit grocery in the way home.
We aren't doing take out either. I don't really mind cooking and the regular place dad went decided to close up during all of this. She was mostly a bar anyway.
Thankfully we have wide open spaces and will be in much better shape once the weather warms up. This week looks better. Still no cases in our county but one a county over.0 -
Good morning BBB crew.
Stay safe, stay smart, stay home.
Rita wasout working in the yard all day, yesterday, then asks me, this morning, "Why is my whole body so sore?" Her trilliums are in bloom - leftover wild plants from before they cleared our lot to build the house. Always a beautiful part of spring.
I only spent a short while in the shop, yesterday - turned a little candy/nut bowl out of a scrap of white oak. I've been really tired the last couple days, due to insomnia. Hadn't been a problem for a while. I'm not worried or anxious; I just wake up and can't get back to sleep. Sigh.
Looking forward to Palm Sunday service, sitting here unshaven and wearing dirty shop clothing. Signs of the times.0 -
Good Morning,
DMIL is getting crazier by the day, she wanted to help plant in beds and garden; so I told her she could hand me the plants. She gets in front of me where I can't work down the row, so I step to the other side she put the tray on ground in middle of row where I'm not able to put plants in ground. Putting coleus in beds have two different colors says she can't hold but one small at a time, tray at other end of bed, goes and gets one then takes pack back and gets other color, while she is getting other color I dig eleven holes takes pack from her and while she is gone to get another pack I put pack out then beat her to tray and grab 2 packs of each color; she gets mad because that was her job. Lets just take an hour job and make it take 4 or 5 hours. I like to get things done. She emptied jelly jar that was in fridge, what was left should have been about a weeks worth 1/4 of jar, generally neither me or DW eats jelly. Told us to get some next time we went out. I go downstairs to storage area and find a quart of jam, bring it up and put on table, it says jam not jelly. I told her to try it any way. This morning I break seal and set on table, she digs large clump out, more jam than toast. I finish breakfast pickup my plate and silverware, rinse and put in dishwasher; DW does same then proceeds to clean stove. DMIL still sitting at table, DW ask if she needed to get her plate, no I waiting for you to get out of kitchen so I can clean up. Last night she took grates off stove and could not get them put back, she does not wipe counters, table or believe in sweeping floor yet after each meal there is more food under her chair than 3 yo. She gets up cradling empty cup and jam against stomach and heads downstairs. I ask where she was going with jam, you gave it to me; yes but are you going to bring it back up stairs every day? Well I didn't want to take up space in your refrigerator, she has her cheese, yogurt, pepper jelly, pickle okra, milk because we use skim yet she does not want to take up space in our refrigerator. I walk out on deck look down and she has a row of empty beer cans lined up on railing instead of putting in trash. I ask about why they were not in trash; she tells DW she needs to pick up another 12 pack in case Sam decides to do a beer butt chicken. If we purchased a 12 pack it more than likely would be gone by next day.
I just needed to vent

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Got to watch the Palm Sunday service in my living room, wearing PJs and enjoying a cup of coffee. Strange.
- Speaking of coffee I created my own blend. 2 parts Starbucks House Blend and 1 part Michigan Cherry Pie. Pretty good.
- So the Corona Task Force is telling us the next week or so will be especially bad. I guess the real concern is when the number sick are more than the hospitals and staff can handle. I am so frustrated with the people who refuse to stay at home.
- On a brighter note it is a beautiful spring day in my neck of the woods. High today of 79°.
- Stay safe my friends.

It’s so cool here today and wet. Not liking it.
Lunch was amazing. Ds2 smoked a pork butt. That and homemade Mac and cheese. Pretty tasty.0 -
Hang in there, Sam!
Vent anytime!
DMIL hasn't given me many Jam stories - but she's got a bad habit of leaving food all around her on the couch (candies; cans of peanuts) - drives me nuts (no pun intended). I just pick and choose battles and ignore. Not going to win it.
