What is everyone doing Sunday for Easter?

Still not sure here. Most likely steaks on the grill. Ha.

Ds1 from Denton, TX is joining me at church online at 10:30. Then a facetime visit with both ds1, ds2 later all together. Then another computer visit with my niece, nephew and their baby. Makes some Happy Easter phone calls....

I'm making brunch for just Tom and I around noon. Veggie ham egg bake, cheesy hashbrowns, cinnamon rolls. Mimosas, coffee, vanilla homemade easter cup cakes.

Literally hadn't thought about food. Sister is always in charge of that so I'll have to get busy with a plan. It's planting season now so not sure if he will take the day off or not.

Dads church is doing online but he also thinks sunrise service is drive up.

I'll be one of the few in the church helping with AV for the streamed service. We haven't discussed the menu for the day yet. It will be something that is already in the house.

Just me and Rita, of course, but we'll bake a small ham, and I'll get Rita to bake an apple pie.

We'll watch service on computer, had virtual communion today for Maundy Thursday I used real wine since we did not have grape juice.
Sunday will bake 1/2 ham, fresh green beans, potato salad, rolls for DQ may fix pie or cake.
No little ones here so no egg coloring or hunts

Definitely a streamed/taped service here. No plans for special foods at this point. Have to think about that one.
Like Sam we used real wine for virtual communion which our church doesn't do.

I bought Easter candy for all the kids and the grands, bagged it in lots and lots of plastic baggies, and we'll drive to their houses and hide it in their front yards super early, before the sun. Then I'll send them each a message and let them know how many baggies to look for. I hope it makes them smile! The grands got a few gifts, too ... some outdoor toys like a scooter, jumpropes, and bubbles. I am going to request video footage of the hunt!

Then we plan to come back home and I'll make breakfast, which we'll enjoy while watching an online Easter service.

Tomorrow night we're grilling steaks, and having that with a baked potato/carrot/onion thing that I do (wrapped in foil) and watermelon pizza.

Later on in the evening, I host a Zoom AA meeting (it's the group that usually meets after the church service that I lead when life is normal) and then a bunch of my WW Coach friends and I are doing a Zoom game night. I'm looking forward to it!
