April 15, 2020 ... looks like this will be Baby James' birthday! Dd23 went into labor a couple hours ago! We aren't allowed at the hospital, but we're watching the dogs, and there was NO way I was going back to sleep after I talked to her. So, here I am. Drinking coffee, setting aside all the stuff we'll need at her house, making sure the garbage goes out before we leave. We have to leave pretty early, since I need to be online for a WW workshop by 7:30. We'll have to get there (it's about 1.3 hours away) and then get set up on their internet by 7:15 or so. I went to bed around 9:30 and we got the call a little after midnight, so I got almost 3 hours sleep. I can make it through my first 3 workshops then take a nap before the 4th.

I am SO happy for her!!! And a little sad that I can't be there when she wanted her mama, but it's okay. I want him to be safe and healthy more.

    Good Morning,
Congrats on new arrival, praying all goes GREAT!
Parade through neighborhood was great got most out on front lawns and some interaction even though it was from afar, one A-hole came out and had to cut his grass during parade as there was no other time to cut grass, can't say he did not know, e-mails went out as well as a flyer was put on every mail box.
Pollen count down getting wide difference in counts from Allergy Center and Weather Channel,
anyway planning on smoothing out garden then going somewhere and picking up balance of seed/plants needed.
Something keeps pulling coleus up and leaving on top of ground, not eating just having to put back in ground.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • What great news to wake up to this morning. My prayers are with Sweet Baby James and his parents and grand parents. Thanks for sharing Lisa.
    • That's beautiful farm country Steph. Nice to see the calves being neighborly.
    • I'm still in awe of Skip's massive TV in the mancave.
    • I should really do something today. Really.

Lou - how did your tussle with SBUX go? Did you heed Sam's VERY STELLAR recommendation?

Ah, Lee, the prettiest sunsets I ever saw were in Oklahoma - because of the dust in the air. Worst dust storm since the Dust Bowl days - early February 1976, while I was in BCT at Fort Sill. I'm less nostalgic than a native Oklahoman, I suspect. :D

Skip - I take a far more pragmatic approach. There's another coffee shop a couple hundred yards from Starbucks that's perfectly fine with me walking in...
