    Good morning gentlemen.

I've been awake since 2. Finally gave up and came downstairs at 4. So it goes. If I am going to lie awake all night, I wish I could at least have something I was worried about, but mostky I was thinking about the bevel angle on my spindle gouges. Ha.

Virtual communion, this morning. Our church does communion the first Sunday of the month. Maybe we'll use a goblet I turned.

Rain yesterday and today, then a warming and drying trend through the week.

Hope new grand child and mother are doing well, Mike.

    Mornin' gents.

Online dental continuing ed seminar this morning.

Prayers continue for your DDIL and baby, Mike.

Got a new TV for our bedroom yesterday. Gonna have to get a wall mount for it. The old TV had a pedistal that fit nicely on a jelly hutch in the corner of the room. Couldn't find a new TV of similar size with pedestal. They all have legs for better stability. Right now have a crappy looking board across the top of the hutch until wall mount arrives from Amazon.

    Be OP ;-)

SGM - I literally had Coffee sneeze through my nose. "laying awake thinking about the bevel angle of my spindle" was not what I was expecting  Sorry you couldn't sleep. I've been doing that a lot lately - and stopped fighting it and just get on computer and start pounding out work.

Yesterday was a solid day for the Pool contractors. The concrete was messy but its in and will cure for 10 days before they return to do the tile and coping.

Got to see the USAF Thuderbirds and Navy Blue Angels fly overhead yesterday in their Capital Region salute. It was pretty cool. #patriotpride.

Today is rainy and chilly. Good day to binge on Ozark.

    Cheers,

    Good Morning

I am not sure what the day will bring. After streaming church we have plenty of things to get done after our movie day yesterday. Back is not happy so that will define the day a bit. I will grill some steak tonight like a normal weekend. If the back improves we will go for a walk. Hopefully good news from Mike today on the newest Grandkid.

    Mornin'

Baby was born late last night. A whopping 9.36# boy. Parents still coming up with a name I guess.... Mom and baby are doing well. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Televised church was this morning, with 1/2 hour of added prayer service afterward for the nation and its people.

Might bring laundry to a wash-dry-and-fold place to avoid multiple trips to condo laundry room. Too much associated sanitizing, mask on/off, shoe sanitizing, hand washing, etc. Takes forever to get clothes clean and possibly an added risk, with a resident of one of the buildings here COVID positive (although supposedly in quarantine.) Not sure of risk from laundry service, although could sequester clean laundry a few days before opening, if necessary. A Rutland cop now has COVID-19. Maybe first community transmission within the town; others have been travel or commuters who got it from workplaces.

Spent day yesterday indoors except some time on balcony. Too nice today to not go for a hike somewhere... sunny, cool and calm.

    Good Morning!

    Congratulations, Mike!

We have been out of internet for three days at home. I am embarrassed to admit that I am just now figuring out about mobile hot spots through my cell provider. We are back up, but through the cell phone. We were paying for that all along, and not using it. Spectrum says our router is bad. I just paid several hundred dollars for that about a year ago. Ugh! More testing to be done, but at leisure, since we are back up and running. I'm happy again. Next up, is to connect the treadmill!

Now we can watch church later this morning!

    Have a great day!

Congrats Mike, big boy! pray he and mom doing great,
We had virtual church this morning also with communion e-mail sent Thursday recommending everyone get grape juice and pita bread, our grape juice had gone through fermentation and we used a roll, was not going out after we received e-mail. Some churches were open today, hope it does not backfire.
I would really hate for the bevel angle of my spindle to be off; beautiful bowls and cups Dave.
Lots of stuff that needs to be done around here, just don't have the drive to do it.
DD thought she was sending us a video of Thunderbirds and Blue Angles as they flew over Atlanta yesterday but all we saw was vapor lines she though she was videoing but instead had on camera. We had seen as they flew over opening of races before

    Congratulations Mike! Very exciting!

Had YouTube church this morning, went shopping and then video called a friend. Obviously we haven't been able to get the pub for ages so we each bought some beer and had a drink together over facetime.

First drink I've had for a while as I'm trying to lose weight
