    Good Morning!

Star Wars day! I had my first workout on my new treadmill. I walked 1.7 miles on a beach in Costa Rica. I really like my new treadmill. Tonight, I have scheduled a run in Chicago.

I pray for those that are still dealing with pain. Lee, I'm also still praying for your dad.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gehtlemen.

Slept for a couple hours yesterday afternoon. Not very productive, but I felt better.

We picked up barbecue takeout on Friday, which took two days to eat - and I was up 2 lbs. by Sunday. Smoked salmon with collard greens, last night. Start of a better week, I hope.

    Mmmm, smoked salmon sounds wonderful.

New GS got a name--William Joseph. Me dad's name was Joseph. DIL's father is William.

Drove around yesterday looking for a place to put in canoe and found a traffic jam at river launch parking lot, with overflow cars lining the roadsides. It was 75º, first summer-like day this spring. Turned around and went to another river launch with only a few cars, just some fishermen, no boaters. Had the whole river to myself. Paddled till sunset and ran into a pair of geese and 4 fuzzy goslings blocking the way out at the takeout. Wouldn't move so I watched for 10 minutes till they finally waddled off into the bushes.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning

Visiting ortho to begin arduous process of appealing insurance. So deflated. Ugh.

Never really got into the Star Wars cult. Yawwwwn

    Good job on treadmill Steve.

May the Fourth be with you gents!

Wow. Don't rain on our Star Wars parade, Skip. Good luck with appeal, buddy.

Thank you, Steve. The follow up tests didn't come with a good prognosis for dad, unfortunately. They want to start him on a drug (Ofev) that will cost about $11,000/ month and even so the mean survival time is only 4 months. Dad is basically going into hospice care.

Congrats on new DGS, Mike! William Joseph is a strong name.

    Good Morning

Congratulations Mike on William Joseph! He’s a big boy.

Sorry to here about your Dad Lee. We will be praying for all of you.

Skip, good luck on the insurance appeal. If you were into Star Wars you would be able to use Jedi mind trick to shift their thinking.

Rested yesterday to try to get things to calm down. A bit discouraged. I signed up for a virtual Dulcimer festival in June. A huge response by the community to having so many of the annual festivals around the country cancelled. Workshops and concerts over 2 days. I signed up for 10 different ones. I’m excited. Laundry day and back to my workout and hopefully a walk today. Exciting stuff.

Sorry to hear dad's prognosis Lee, will keep him in prayer.
Steve, keep up trips on treadmill will show on scale
I've never seen a complete star wars movie, on those I stared watching always fell a sleep
Mike, how many did you see wearing mask at first in put?
I have always considered an afternoon nap beneficial for attitude and health.
