Low blood sugars

Hello,
I am trying to loose weight by keeping my calories around 1500-1700. I also started walking/jogging after supper 1.5 miles. The problem is that I have to snack to cover the crash that hits around 8-9pm. I have adjusted my basal and have a pump that reacts to low BS but I am still experiencing crashes. Anybody have advice for me?
