Good morning BBB.
Hope the mothers among us have a great day. I suspect the mother of my son will spend the day working in the yard. That is sort of a tradition for her, even without social distancing. I'll try to cook something for her for supper. We'll see what's in the freezer.0 -

Nothing exciting here.

Happy Mother's Day BBB moms!
Hanging out with the mother of my sons.
Sunny and breezy today.
Great visit with DS#1's fiance yesterday. Burned some steaks, drank some gin. She brought DW a cake and some flowers. That girl is a true gem.

Morning BBB
Happy mother's day.
Dad is fine planting beans so he might help his coworker finish up the corn before he retires then has the small acrege of his own land that my nephew is using as a. FFA project to plant.
I believe we are going to sister's house for dinner tonight. The state is opening back up so we are going to slowing begin to venture out to "safe" places. I assume the youngest (13 yo) will come home with us and ride home with her brother tomorrow when he comes to oversee his planting. This all worries me a bit but we will be careful.0 -

Happy Mothers' Day, everyone!
Dave, with WW, we continue to use a person's original height for all calculations, unless that person desires otherwise. The reason is mostly because of the SP the person is given. Those are based on a person's height, weight, sex, and age, which determine their basic metabolism rates. The greatest percentage (around 75%) of a person's metabolism is determined by their Resting Metabalic Rate, which is greatly determined by their lean body mass That includes things like skeletal structure, organs, and muscle. When a person's height diminishes, that doesn't necessarily mean that any of those other things have also diminished. Some people may lose bone, but others may simply have had their bones (probably vertabrae) compress some. And organ size is probably unaffected. So, if you want to go by your original height, you have our blessing.
Lee, I'm so glad Ds2 found such a great girl! It sounds like she'll be a blessing to the whole family!
I had a nice day. I started it with a walk with a WW friend, which seemed to do wonders for helping me avoid the funk I usually fall into on Mothers' Day. My kids all reached out, too, and Dd20 even decorated the house and got me some little gifts, which were all set up when I got home from my walk. Jim ordered pickup food for us for lunch, and I had steak. We took a drive down tulip lane, and then I did my AA meeting to end the evening.0
