Today was an intensely emotional day. I graduated from residency training today - I said goodbye to my colleagues, mentors, advocates, and best friends from the past 8 years... all at once, and it couldn't even be in person. I did not push emotions away with food. I did enjoy a nice meal and a few glasses of wine with one of these friends, which put me slightly over. This was a pass day done well.20 -

A great hike up a steep mountain with my friends. We took it slow because we had a 2 year old with us but it was all worth it for the view. Sorry, I can't post photos from my phone. Watch says I burned over 900 calories on the hike!
Ate well, and close to my budget before exercise calories so a really good day.
Enjoying my time off but missing the animals as well. The benefit of having a job I love is that I'm normally ready to go back after a break. Only go back next Friday though so plenty of time to enjoy my free time.12 -
19th June
Yeah, another good day!
Got to go swimming again, 30 minutes and did another 40 minutes of walking. The swimming is just wonderful, empties my head completely of all kinds of nonsense and helps me sleep better as well, I think. I can only book two sessions a week at the moment, but I can also do two exercise classes a week. I have to get a lock for my bike so I can have the back brake mended and the gears looked at, so I will try and do that tomorrow. If I go early I might be able to pop into IKEA to buy some Swedish meatballs!
Calories: Yes, stayed under. Leftovers for lunch, posh organic soup and baked potato with salad for dinner, no trouble, but very nice.

A good day! I've been doing a lot of self reflection recently on my behaviours and relationships with food. I've had some good realisations about how I gained soon much weight, and why I found myself bingeing in secret.
Much more positive state of mind right now! Onwards and upwards!13 -

I usualy report in the next morning for each day, but recentIy I am so busy at work and my reports delay. I will be so busy tomorrow too. So I am reporting June 19 now as it is 11 pm here. Tomorrow, there will be an exam for 8th graders to be able to enroll best ranking high schools in Turkey. My daughter is goin to take this exam too. I am so excited for her.7 -

Tracked, so far under for the day. Half hour boot camp, and a 45 min dog walk.
Finally saw scale progress this morning, after a month of diligent tracking! The last two weeks I've focused on minimally processed food and healthy swaps. Prior to that, I was snacking alot, skipping healthy food in order to make room for snack calories.
Thx to my old friends, CICO and mindfulness. Feeling encouraged.12 -

However I leave on vacation in the morning and am not certain I will be able to keep things up. I have already taken 4 pass days, so no winner's circle this month. I will continue to do my best, and am targeting the winner's circle in July.7 -

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! It's a very surreal feeling.
Exercise - yes - played frisbee, and carrying chairs around the building left my hamstrings feeling surprisingly tired, so I'm counting that as exercise too
Tracked - yes - went out to eat (Out! At a restaurant! In NY! So exciting) so had to guesstimate some of the foods, but I think I estimated generously
Calories - yes - a higher day than usual but still below BMR5 -

Lots of activity today over12,000 steps and 22 active minutes where I walked the pup.A friend was out of town so I walked her doggie with mine... I could tell my doggie was in such good shape compared to other dog. I was thinking as we were walking how she benefits from my healthy habits. Even more motivation to stay active.

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Surprisingly yes, even after an un-planned Wendy’s small frosty and fries. I was able to adjust my dinner to low calorie but filling one.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep, it was helpful to know how much I had left for dinner.4 -
