Today I will use my 1st pass day. - 2 pass days remaining.
I definitely got my exercise though! 35,000 steps hiking in the mountains with my dog.
It has been a fantastic day!
I wasn't able to log all my food and snacks accurately. I guessed weights and calories at the restaurant. I think I am on budget for calories, or at least on budget for maintenance.
Tomorrow back to home cooked everything and my food scale! I am taking my dog out on the kayak so will definitely take s picnic with us.
I hope you all had a great day!9 -

Slept in (as usual on a weekend) ... COLD out there ... so had a "pajama day" for the first time since I had a cold back in early March (despite working from home since March 16 and all the "wear pajamas all the time" jokes that have been floating around for months ... vegged on the couch and never got hungry .... so little calories in.
Just did the (may as well save that last pass till I TRULY need it) exercise component, so .....
YES on all counts!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? more than 20 minutes of exergame walking (bare minimum, but still more energetic than when I did "the zombie shuffle" while suffering through a cold in order to meet the goal statement)
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Very under - even when I pushed the size of the evening popcorn serving
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Easily done - hardly ate anything.
Days goals met: 11
Pass days used: 2 (unintentional - "Raisin Bread Incident")

I'm about a pound away from my goal weight (currently on the lose 0.5 lb per week plan) and would love to hear suggestions from UAC members about transitioning into maintenance. What are your tips?
I've been in maintenance since November 2019. I lost about 35 pounds (about 30 with MFP and the rest the month before I joined).
(1) Food: I gained all that weight because I ate whatever I wanted and didn't keep track of calories. I'm a widow, live by myself, don't like to cook, and live 2 blocks from a street loaded with restaurants and fast food places -- so guess what I ate.
(2) Weighing: My weight also got out of control because I didn't weigh myself. So surprise, I weigh at least a few times a week.
(3) Meal prep. I make sure I have a fridge full of food I like that's easy to grab and go. I love salads, so I always have them on hand. I take all my meals and snacks to work instead of being tempted to eat out.
(4) Logging: I keep logging here on MFP. I'm not perfect, but the logging makes me pay attention to what I eat.
(5) Weight range: I gave myself a 5 pound range. If I go over that range, I tighten up.
(6) Summary: the same things I did when I was losing weight: weigh myself, meal prep with healthy food, take my food to work, and keep logging.
Hope this helps!

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Ran 8 miles outside this morning, followed by three hours of band practice (being the lead singer gets you A LOT of cardio) and running some errands after. Ending the day just shy of 33K steps. I haven't had a day that big in a while!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and way under -- I can't eat everything they want me to!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!6 -
exercise yes
tracking yes
budjet yesTook care of Buddy today.
Sometimes I think that is not really exercise.
But my back is telling me that it was exercise.
But it isn't cardio.
That is what I like.
But I did walk to the department store early evening. That was more that 20 minutes.
I am debating whether to drive for 4 hours tomorrow to get to one of my sweet spots.
Spend a few days there is what I do to justify that much driving.
I don't spend any money. I just pop up a tent and blow up an air mattress.
But the thing of it is, Buddy not in Summer school (ESY) because of corona.
Last couple of summers I go camping when Buddy in summer school.
But I like hanging out with that little rascal if there ain't gonna be no school.
The conundrum - ditch buddy for camping?
What is more fun or joyful, Camping or hanging out with Buddy?
So that will be the theme of today's pictures.

Pass day 3 for me. Snacked in the afternoon without first measuring and although I guessed the amount it was over budget even when I reduced supper and used all my extensive exercise calories.
Not my greatest choices food wise but a great day from exercise point of view.
Morning 5km run for a challenge where I have to run 5km for 5 days. Then off to my friend's house with housemate and boyfriend. We all had cake for his birthday and went for a walk along the beach with his little family. I've missed kids in lock down so loved spending some time with his 2 year old daughter. Then we did another 6 rounds of Jiu Jitsu. Ok, I did 5 around because asthma was playing up because I've been eating too much wheat. But I'm definitely improving on my Jiu Jitsu despite that. I made the first three rounds even though I felt it getting worse. Used pump after round 3 and fighting off a choke with the brown belt triggered it. Got it under control pretty quickly and continued. Next round had the biggest guy land with all of his 100+ kg on my chest (not deliberately, that is just the nature of the sport) and by the end of the round I knew if I pushed any more I would have a serious attack so I stopped. Then we all had lunch and did some yoga before heading home for series.
Despite the lockdown and my not ideal food choices and asthma, it was a wonderful day!3 -
