Any tips for weight loss?

Me and my hubby recently adopted a vegan diet due to me having low kidney function. My kidney function went from 48 to 78 in a few months, and I am so thankful I have taken this step. But....we occasionally just have to eat a steak or hamburger or something, Also, I am finding it takes a lot of food prepping and I haven;t actually lost any weight to speak of. Any suggestion?

@katandjak I am so glad to hear your levels went up! I would say being vegan doesnt inherintly make you lose weight. I will say that if you eat WFPB low oil you will see some flux, as long as you are not overeating. It is hard to overeat on a strict WFPB diet, but I have seen it happen- too much "healthy fats" that are high calorie. I am guilty of eating way too much guac!!! haha- which is why I was looking for a vegan weight loss group. It looks like this group is basically inactive. I wanted to send you a message to say you can friend request me if you want... I have been vegan for 3 ish years now.
Good luck on your journey!1 -
