    Good Morning BBB.
Tom headed up north yesterday - he will be gone at least 10 days. Jack and I will hold down the fort.
Mary - I would be miffed too.
Lee - congrats to DS2 - tell him welcome to the club.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good morning

    Raine, is the shop done?

Nothing new to report here other than my whole body is sore. Feels like I got hit by a Mack truck. Ha.

    Mornin' BBB.

Thanks Raine. Safe travels to Tom.

25 flights. Your quads must be the sorest.

Love it when we have sunshine during the day and it rains at night. Its done that for the past two days here. Good for the veggie plants and means I do not have to water.

How is Doc Skippy today? TGIF?

    BBB OP ;-)

    Morning~

DocSkip lasted a couple hours on the computer yesterday before retreating. Will try same today.

    Yes, TGIF!

Managed to get out of house for an hour.....DW dropped me off and picked me up from my friends house a mile away to enjoy a beer while she went to the grocery store.

Busy weekend ahead. Lots of schoolwork to do.

Patio around pool got finished yesterday. Waiting on plaster and water fill.

    Cheers,
    Skip

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Sounds like progress Skip.
    • Started the last season of Alias last night. What are we going to do when it is over?
    • Been invited for a late morning cruise on the lake. It is supposed to rain this afternoon.
    • Did anyone figure out how it got to be June already?

    Morning BBB

Glad you got an outing skip. Always helps with the healing.

It's hella hot here again for the 5th day in a row. Not usually in the upper 90's this early in the summer. Local pools aren't opening for another week or so. We are heading out for our hike now. About 2 hours before I would like.

    Good Morning,
Skip, do not push too much; takes time for body to heal.
Steph, I do not envy you having to deal with family,
Kelly, how many days a week do you run like that?
    Safe travels Tom,
DW called dealership where we purchased her Highlander, told them they needed to explain how everything works on car and how to connect everything. Looking in manual it gives directions for several trim levels but does not identify which goes for her Highlander. Dennis showed us things that salesperson said vehicle did not have; DW tried to work with navigation system and gave up as well as tying into phone and speaker system. She wants all working and how to work before we go to Florida the 13th. They are suppose to have someone there at 10 this morning to go over entire vehicle.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Enjoyed Zoom choir practice, last night. It's a tiny bit of normalcy.

Glad the dealer is willing to help out on making everything work, Sam. If you pay for the high-tech features, you want to use them.

Pretty cool and cloudy, here. That's fairly typical. The old joke in Western Washington is that summer doesn't start until the 4th of July.

Dave, I can only imagine Zoom choir practice. There is usually a little bit of delay which would make it interesting.

Sam, If you need me to help with the Highlander I would be glad to do so. I am sure I could fit it to my busy pandemic schedule.

    Good morning BBB

I couldn't agree with you more Sam, and I will indeed chill with the neighbor, for sure don't want to run off the buyer, just needed to vent. But my lips are sealed to them as well, pleasantries only, which only makes it more frustrating LOL. But yes, pleasant as a *kitten* cat, right. Septic inspection Monday at 1. Me and my gf with glamp and play with the boat Sun, Mon, Tues. Then back for my dentist appt Wed. then Wed p.m Tom and I will go back and play Wed, Thur Fri Sat - and look for a possible place of our own... be nice to have a week vacation now that all the work is done. Then move the glamper and set up in our friends yard on Sunday. Then back there for a long next weekend and move boat off of our pier Sun. the 21st. Close Mon. the 22nd. Gosh knows I don't want to move that boat any sooner to give anyone the chance to move in on the frontage before closing, sigh. sad.

All the fancy stuff on cars and phones now days sure makes things tricky for us folks that like to just do it and not fuss with having to figure it out. We all need a Dennis on stand by!

Sounds like the pool is well on its way Skip! Will you able to use it sooner than later?

Steph, you sure are rocking this walking biking new lifestyle, good for you!

Raine, hope the time flies by without your honey home. Jack will keep you company!

Lee, I agree, rain is so much better than having to water!

Texas gov says yesterday all outdoor stadiums can seat as many spectators as the facility wants.... not sure what that means for college div 1 ncaa sports at this point yet, but we'll see.

Kelly, hows DS1 doing in Wisc? Looks like I won't be in town Sunday since I have to take this time at the lake... but we catch up next time... promise.

Dennis, the director actually tried to have a practice with everyone singing, and it didn't work, because of the varied delays. Bedlam ensued. So all the choir members silence their microphones and just hear the director and piano.

    Good luck with everything, Mary!

I blew my Dad's mind when he came to visit last year. In addition to the house being a "smart house" - the technologies are compatible with my vehicles. You could see his mind "blow" when I pulled out of the garage and said, "Hey Siri.....set Jeep Closed Scene." This triggers the garage door to close; the house doors to lock; turns off all lights and gives me a prompt to arm the home security system. The opposite occurs when you return, "Hey Siri.....set Jeep Open Scene." Garage opens; doors unlock; alarm deactivates; lights in hall/foyer comes on.

I kept screwing with him when I said, "Hey Siri.....set upstairs temperature to 68" or "Hey Siri....turn on Great Room lighting."

Since his last visit, I've added Siri's illegitimate sister (shhhhhh big family scandal) to the lineup: Alexa.

To simply say, "Alexa....turn on the TV" or "Alexa.....turn on History Channel"

His mind is going to go BOOM!

Those stadiums have to submit plans to the health department, so I wouldn't put much faith in anything more than half capacity.
