Virtual church this morning. This afternoon, I plan to record my part for next week's virtual choir. I might spend some time in the shop, too. DS and family are coming over for supper - roast pork, potato salad, and corn, with strawberry-rhubarb pie for dessert.0 -

First night "dry" camping in fireman/emt Chris' driveway, our new spot for a while. Good thing I have a Port a Lou. At my age, I dont make it thru the nite. Ugghh.
Pulled in Sat. and surprised the soon to be old rude neighbors who were once again using our lot as their own, now as a dog park. Never saw 2people round up their dogs and dash into a house so quickly. Smh
Dug a little frasier fir pine out of lake lot, into a bucket, to give to ds2, to plant in his new yard, in memory of his Dad and his lake lot. He closes on his house tomorrow! I hired a painter to help him out Mon and Tues. on 3 rooms there.
Gonna use up these nightcrawlers and hit the road home. Tom's dd and ds want come have dinner with him tonite. Hopefully they'll bring it, or take him out...
News flash, got a call that the lot we wanted to buy is available for sale again. The renters who said they wanted it, changed their mind. Yet sellers still plan to give them the entire summer there renting!!!. Sigh. So we should just for go lake ownership this summer and put everything in storage. They would want to close Sept 15. I want this property really bad. It's on same block as 4 of our closest friends here! We tried to push wanting occupancy now or even 1 month. They say nope. Theyll put it on the market then...

I guess buy it Mary. Make friends with the renters and maybe they’ll invite you to chill with them in the lot. You can invite them back when you own it??

Happy father's day
It's been a fun but exhausting weekend. Both sisters/husband's and 5 of the 7 nieces and nephews came. The other two were with their dad. We kayaked and swam and had a bon fire. Finally it wasn't windy for half a day. Hail storm last night some had some cleanup to so in the evening. The shade tent got blown over (it was already on its last leg). The building at the pond isn't built yet so had to haul everything back to the shed this afternoon.
I'm finishing up cleaning the house and Ron is doing the outside chores. We drug up a bunch of sand and mud but everyone had a great time.
Pond is fed with the irrigation pump. It hold water to about 5 feet then has a slow leak. He will bentonite it next year so it will hold year round. And then get fish. He still had some grading he wanted to do this year so didn't seal it yet.
Sister and I took phtots of her oldest for his Senior pictures too.
Way too much sugar and two late nights. I am beat.0 -
