I am a 50 yr old female that as of June 18/13 I weighed 195.8 lbs. I have wanted to lose weight for at least the last 5 yrs in the worst way but never could find that motivation I needed to actually set my mind to doing it. Finally, the blah's got to me and my boss & I started trying to lose the weight as of that day and since I have lost 12.6 lbs. Looking for other females in the same situation for friendly support and encouragement. Add me as a friend. On this journey, everyone needs FRIENDS!!!
I have found that the older we get, the harder it gets to lose the weight. Menopause is definitely a factor as well. I need to lose the weight for health reasons. I don't want to have a heart attack nor do I wish to get some other sickness that can be attributed to being overweight.

All we can do is one day at a time, make the right food choices and incorporate some level of activity in our daily lives to expend our calories and we can do it. You can do it too!0

I didn't make very good snack choices this weekend due to going to a fund raiser...too many goodies there to resist. I did manage to keep it to 2 of the smallest sweet treats, but the guilt came within minutes of eating it. Need a strategy to avoid that huge pitfall in the future.0
