Long day lounging in pool; nice cookout; today is all morning doing schoolwork and trying to get some time in the Vette and some time in the pool too.

    Continued HOT and humid here.

    Have a great day, BBB!

    Good morning BBB crew.

So, if it's hot and humid on the East Coast then - YES! - it's cool and damp, here on Puget Sound. Sigh.

DW stir-fried kale from the garden, last night, with garlic and onions, served with rice and seasoned with spiced vinegar. I grilled brats. Great combination. We had strawberry shortcake - berries from the garden, too - for dessert. Tasty.

Watched "Davy Crocket and the River Pirates" last night. A blast from my childhood.

Never found a way I like kale. Maybe that would work.

We have a Bose sound link. It’s about 3 inches wide, maybe 8 inches long. NOT LOUD ENOUGH. I don’t want to disturb anyone but it’s no where near loud enough.
Wonder if that one is any louder?

Wow. I've been using this for years. Its certainly loud enough for us - and the neighbors can hear it too....if I go louder I'm worried someone will start calling the Po Po.....

    Morning BBB

The two little dogs slept with us. Went ok. The littlest one like to lick your face.

Today we are going to explore the area by bike. Then probably hit a grocery store.

The house is an old craftaman with a huge deck facing the mountain. Hit tub has a nice view. She said we might see climbers.

    Good Afternoon,
    Been churched
DW and DMIL gone to store; DMIL ran out of junk food
Kale is good deep fried then crumbled on top of salad, can do same with collards; though for some reason seems to go against eating a healthy salad.
Comfortable this morning, staying in air conditioning this afternoon.

    Hi BBB

I posted the speakers Tom has purchased that sound great in a lone thread.

Grocery store took way too long and flared up my knee. Our bill seemed too high too, for what we put away, I dunno? $200 and the one meat was lb.. 90/10 gr.chuck, 1lb.bscb., tpaper, papertowel, 4 D batteries, coffee, were the other highest items. Overall seems expensive for 2 people for a week. I think prices for sure have risen. Yes?

Kelly, if you want me to do a welfare check just let me know, I'd welcome buying your ds1 a beer and meal. He might find it odd? If not, let's arrange it!

Tom's watching the Road America race, then heading outside for mulch moving. I'm knee icing. Last day of vacation. I'm in office Monday and Wed. Working remotely rest of week if I have my way. I see I have a nice order in my email to release tomorrow.

Enjoy ur Sunny Sunday BBB, 82F here, then another hot hot week into hi 90s here

    Afternoon BBB.

Wow. Its been 4 years on MFP. Thanks Dennis.

That stir fried kale sounds really good, Dave.

DW wants to start harveting the kale in our garden but is needs another week.
I like a baby kale salad with a homemade garlic italian dressing topped with shaved parmesan.

I would like to tell you I hooked a huge northern pike this morning and it broke off before I could get it in the net, but I would be telling a fib. Got out early and it was the morning after a big rain and I should have had some success but it was like there were no fish in the lake. I didn't even see sunfish or rock bass. The water temp is so warm that all the fish are holding in deeper water and I couldn't get to them with my fly.

I think I need a new fuel filter in my Suzuki outboard. She acted like she wasn't getting enough gas when I started out, then after some coaxing, she ran about 90%. The longer I let her run wide open the better she ran.

Hope you can get your knee feeling better, Mary, without seeing an ortho doc.

I got a brandy new android smartphone. Galaxy S20. Pretty sweet. I couldn't stand the Kyocera Dura Pro I had anymore. It was durable and waterproof and I could reliably make calls, but that was it. Forget trying to do anything smart or take a decent picture. Hope I don't bust this one.

    BBB OP ;-)

Mary, I’d like you to wet ds and whack him in the head. Can we arrange that?
