So I had to quit running because I need to get fitted for the right shoes. It killed me and I still hear songs on iTunes and remember the feel of letting it all out on the track. I've been wanting to get back to it as soon as I get fitted for the right running shoes. I've been saving up for some, I know they're pricey...anyways, I've also really wanted to run my first 5k this year. So this morning I logged onto facebook and there's a color run type 5k on November, just an hour or so away and get this...it's on my birthday!!!! It's fate! http://www.colormecrazy5k.com/

So I need to start the training here soon and get my girls out with me because I want them to come too, a family thing :)

    That would be nice to do it as a family and all encourage each other. i finally got me some nice trainers today. havent tried em on yet but they were reduced from £105 i think andrew said to £35. not bad, and they are PURPLE :) I will be starting with small runs i think on monday evening.

    Well family minus the husband, still not talking and pretty sure were bound on a one way track to divorce, oh well. So purple is a nice color! Did you get fitted? I'm hopefully going to go get fitted for mine here soon!

    nope. bought them off the sale rack, will try them on in a bit and take a pick in my gear

    Be careful, some people do okay without fitted shoes, just listen to your body. Can't wait for the pic.
