Not even Tom is up yet and he leaves at 5:30 its still dark out a.m. = sigh
Been awake since 3ish, can't sleep, wide awake. Day off both jobs today. Got some gardening to tend to. And have closing on the refinance today taking advantage of the lowest rates ever without losing any time, equity, or headway on this main mortgage on the big house here,
The notary coming to us this afternoon.
Then hitting the road to the glamper at the lake. Do some pontooning.
Bringing our pier landlord a bottle of 12yr old Double Cask MaCallan Scotch, how's that for a model tenant? DS1 recommended it, guess he's growing up - huhDS2 & dgf and Maddie dog will meet us there later tonite for the weekend. They need a break too.
Only a month away until we move onto our hideway site!
Saw some DaveRita camp photos, looks like they had a happy time!
So, what does Friday bring the rest of the BBB gang? Be well folks! oxoxox

Morning~
Have fun weekend of Glamping!
Hoping to get some pool time today - but showers in the forecast.....
HH @ a Winery with some neighbors tonight. That'll break up the monotony.....
VA finally scheduled hearing test for 8.25.20. Only took 7 months to get that evaluation! Ugh!
TGIF! Have a great one!

Good morning
I like your lead in Mary!! Funny
Have fun Mary!! We’re talking about adding on a big garage. No real plans in place yet.
I’d like pool time too but we also have rain in the forecast.
Lee, what do you recommend for Ruby’s bad breath? Been that way since we got here. Gag.
No plans really for the weekend. How about everyone else?

Mornin' BBB.
I too enjoyed your enumerator quote, Mary.
" what do you recommend for Ruby’s bad breath?" Tell her to stop eating poop? Just kidding. Sometimes it is just the micro flora in her oral cavity and oropharynx, just like some people. Oh, the heartbreak of halitosis (or is it psoriasis?). There are solutions that you can add to the drinking water (some dogs don't like it and then you have a dehydrated dog), there are oral gels that you can rub on their gums daily, or even lightly brush their teeth with it. Most folks just live with it unless there is actual periodontal disease involved (your vet would observe this on exam).
I so need a hearing test. Not sure my insurance will pay, so may just get hearing aids and see how they work for me.
Be cool, Lou. Really not that hot though, since it is a dry heat, right?
Put in a new sliding screen door yesterday afternoon after dog training in the shade. Probably only 80 degrees but so humid I completely drenched my head bandana and shirt. Ugh. Had to take a shower to cool down.

Stupid hot yesterday and we've been upgraded to a potential 107° today. A dry heat is an oven, Lee. I'm not sticking my head in one of those either.
We went to IKEA last night to solve the problem I didn't know we had and came up empty because maybe trying to buy a desk when school is starting up in a college town is a futile exercise?
Mary - 12 y/o Scotch makes a great gift for a couple of your friends here in the BB&B. 😁2 -
Tis Fry-Dee!
I'm not doing anything and do not have plans to do anything
Should be a restful weekend.
Enjoy lake Mary,
Skip and Kelly, pool time is always great
Great pictures Dave
Lee, since you were in service you can go online and get Veterans ID if you do not have one then start pushing for appointment with VA; many of my friends who are veterans and only spent 2 years active have gotten hearing aids through VA.0 -
Morning BBB
We are forcasted for 107 today too. Getting in bike ride soon and then maybe a little pool time before it gets too hot.
Tentatively we are planning to stay in Tulsa next week. I can stay in a Hilton property for 5 night fir 40,000 points which is a steal. Then we will road trip to Omaha for a couple of days and then visit grandparents in Sioux falls.1 -
Good morning BBB crew.
Central Texas - Austin - is plenty humid. That is the voice of experience. For dry heat, you head to El Paso. Big state; lots of variety. We're heading into a little heat wave, here in Tumwater, too. But out forecast is 15 to 20 degrees cooler. Perspective.
Got the tent and tarp cleaned, dried and repacked, and the lawn mowed, yesterday. Hope to do a little turning, today. This is also DGD's birthday. She is having a small get together with some girl friends, today, and a socially distancing visit with all four grandparents tomorrow.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Cleosomeonesomewhere is a smart lady.
- I've been invited to a meet and greet with someone I would like to hear speak but don't think I want to get in a community center with a bunch of other people.
- I vividly remember that run-around with the VA trying to get hearing aids. Patience is a virtue.
- I've charged the battery in my car so I am wide open today.
- Great picture on the beach Dave. I had to look up how Cape Disappointment got its name.
