I've been up since 2 but have just recently accepted my fate; drinking coffee and dressed for work 4 hours before starting time.

Busy day in store for me. Terrific weather today. High of only 80. Woot. I have a feeling mom will be calling later to see if I want to go fishing. Yep. I’ll go!!

Happy Tuesday, BBB! It's a lovely day in West Michigan this morning. We're getting ready for fall - we're watching 3 grands on Friday and are taking Anabelle school shopping, on Saturday we're celebrating Dd28's birthday (she'll be Dd29!), and on Sunday our recovery church services start up again for fall (weather-permitting ... we're doing them outdoors).

Yep, our guacamole is semi-homemade. Easy recipe. 3 medium avocados roughly chopped and then mashed, add 1 can of Rotel (drained), juice of one lime, and 1/2 finely chopped red onion.

A leach field is part of a private septic system.
Good for Pastor Mike, too bad for you and your congregation, Dennis. Larger church generally means more $$$ and more headaches.

Morning BBB
Went to a super cool park in downtown Tulsa yesterday. Lots of short trails and interactive play areas. It's called the gathering place. Barely s mask in sight so we left pretty quickly. It's really more for families anyway.
Then stopped at a cool creamery and had a flight of ice cream. It was in a little strip mall made out of shipping containers.
Don't quote me but a leech field is like a septic tank but not an actual tank or bunker but more of a hole. I don't even know where dads is but I also don't really wanted the back fields. I know where it was at grandmas old house. As kids we were lectured to stay away from that area.
Today heading out soon for a bike ride. Trail is about a mile away. We walked there yesterday to see how the traffic /access was. It's not near as hit here but super humid.0 -

- Braves had a 9th inning rally and came back to beat Skip's Nationals last night. I doubt he'll want to talk about it.
- I had a septic system at our lake house in AL. I had not heard the term leach field. I think we just called them drain fields. Fortunately we are on a sewer system here. Of course they are very proud of it and want rewarded handsomely.

- We have a carefully planned shopping excursion on the schedule for today.

Good Morning
Ya'll are talking baseball like they are playing baseball, who's on first? Are they really still in the game? I've stopped turning on the tv almost entirely unless its Roku, Netflix or the like and that not very often. Im out of touch. I do wear a mask in public building because the signs on the doors say so.
I wanna go fishing with Kelly and her Mom! And eat some guac!

Dennis, I bet you'll get an outstanding replacement pastor! Sorry about the death of the neighborhood lady.
Seems my lake neighbor had a left sided stroke, so the right side is compromised some. Not nearly as bad as it could be, so there is hope with PT he can regain strength in arm and leg. They want to keep him in hosp for a few more days.
Census is trying to entice me with a big pay raise into the covid laden big city. Sorry folks, I moved out of there for reasons way before covid came around LOL. Our area is about done, guess I worked too fast. Oh well. They are short staffed in the big city though.
You retired folk are livin the dream! Have a nice hike into the Cascades! I got work to do, this day job is falling fast again (no orders coming in), wonder if this time its a crash and burn?
