I slept great and in! It’s 8 and I’m up abs ready to hit the grocery store before it gets busy.

Trying to get rid of DBIL/DSIL.....DSIL drank WAY TOO MUCH and well.... I have the video of her destroying my yard! NOT HAPPY!
DW Party was a great soiree! Lots of friends/family/neighbors.
Hoping to catch the Indy later today....
I feel so behind.....
DF arrives Thursday. Kinda getting excited to see me Dad....

Here's the thing, I keep telling everyone I need some fishing lessons. And apparently the $25. Susan B Komon pole where as $10 was a donation is crap and the nice size bulegill, bigger than my hand, by far, jammed up the reel and had the pole totally bend over, then got off the hook. Yes, the one that got away. Rod is toast. I don't even really know how to set up a standard rod.
Someone send me a link to a decent rod at cabelas and I will buy it for myself this week with my fun money lol.
I'm off to try the other rod while its early and no wake, I got worms left

Bout near noon, but been churched and no plans for balance of day.
Was to work Census but got a flat tire yesterday and the way they are sending me back and forth across the county not going to do that on donut tire. DS will have tire repaired in morning maybe before I have to leave for yoga class or will swap vehicles with DW; will not take DW's vehicle in woods, pastures and back fields where census expects proof no building exist or been abandoned for years plus will not take my word but wants a proxy. Have not gotten a single cow, goat or horse to tell me last time a human stayed in building.
DW took DMIL to have her pace maker checked Friday, they are checking it monthly till it gets down to point that medicare will allow battery to be replaced. DMIL comes in Friday and calls her other daughter to tell her she better come see her if she wants to see her before she goes within next month. DSIL calls upset did not know DMIL had gone down so much, my reply is she will more than likely out live all of us.
Ran into gentleman yesterday doing census, 84 y.o. his wife pasted a couple years ago; he is living in travel trailer on property owned by Source of Light Ministries; said he retired from AT&T a little over 20 years ago, took retirement in lump sum; money ran out before he did. Has been living in trailer for two years.
Skip, may be be happy with DSIL but best let DW or DMIL deal with her or you will be bad one. At least you don't have to drain pool.
Mary, I'm not a true fisherman but have found that a Zebco will work just as good and many reels that cost 100 times more. DD has some fancy rigs but now uses a Barbie rod and reel set that was given to her step-daughter, has caught more on it. Kids make fun of it but it works.0 -

- I was not working AV today so I got to sit sleep in and then sit with the rest of the congregation. We had a guest Pastor who gave an excellent sermon.
- If I wanted to buy some decent fishing gear I would ask Doc Lee. Just sayin'.
- Congratulations on an excellent birthday weekend Skip. Those darn drunks. Fortunately for you it's her side of the family.
- Strange to hear Dave talking about watching the Indy 500 in late August. Strange year.
- Sam / Mary. I entered my census info on-line months ago. Am I the exception?
