Good day for me again. Work which included swimming with my seal puppy and then went off to the beach with my friend. We walked along the coast a bit looking for a gully to snorkel in but it was low tide so there were no good options. Still got in at a few places and saw a couple of fish before walking back to the car. Good food choices and under budget.8

Hello all I’m back! First day since I injured my knee that I’ve managed to pull myself together enough to meet all my goals for this challenge. Very much out of the winners circle as I think it has been almost three weeks since I last posted but...onwards and upwards, I’m on crutches and the knee specialist says I probably need surgery but I can feel a couple of pounds already creeping back on so:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 25 minutes gentle cycling on my static bike and my physio exercises.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
It’s hard because I’m so BORED stuck at home! Can’t go anywhere as I’m not able to drive anywhere or walk very far. But I managed to ignore the call of the biscuit tin all day so celebrating that! Missing my daily yoga and dog walk but it’s something to look forward to when my knee is better.

Sorry to hear @katiecan2019
Yes x 3 for me today. It was a tough day as I was hungry straight out of bed. I needed to exercise for my supper today (I was over my calorie goal by mid afternoon) and then plan a very low calorie supper but I managed to stay within goal! Three consecutive days of logging for me since I fell off the wagon. This challenge to the rescue again: because I wanted to report I was within my calorie goal!10 -

Really excited to see that I had a treat today...and still under carbs, fat, sugar and calories - oh, and sodium . Going to hit the water a bit more and try to get another mini walk in with the fam before hitting the sheets early.

It's the difference between expressing "space-scale" time and "terrestrial-scale" time (which default includes "common local weather patterns")
Culturally, the USA and Canada consider the start of September as "the start of Fall". The equinox doesn't occur until ~21st or 22nd of September.
The "equinox" is the point where the sun is above / below the horizon for an equal period of time. Starting the next "day", the proportions shift to either longer days, or longer nights (depending on which equinox) Vernal / spring equinox is the start of spring. Autumnal / fall equinox is the start of fall.
The solstice (mid-summer / mid-winter) is the mid-point between the equinoxes. The Summer-solstice is the longest day and the Winter Solstice is the longest night. Astronomically speaking, they mark the beginning of (astronomical) summer and the beginning of (astronomical) winter ...
but the change in percent of daylight and "normal temperatures at ground level" are not the same ... so in the northern hemisphere ~ Dec 21 (even though the daylight hours are technically starting to get longer) the "cultural winter" has already started - usually in November - and the days keep getting increasingly colder, so it FEELS like "mid-winter, which is gonna last until at least March"
At ground level a season can "come early" or "arrive late"; astronomically, the division is objectively stable.
