Today, Rose and I, begin an almost two week driving trip to include Yellowstone Park, the world's first national park.
We love to visit the park. There is no wi-fi nor cell service in the park, but I'll work to keep in touch. I love to take photos of both beautiful and amusing things. I'll try to find something worthwhile to share with you each day.

@RangerRickL Enjoy! That is definitely some place I would love to see, but it’s a bit far for me. Of course, there are still places I haven’t been in my own country so I need to work on that. While I’ve been to many game parks, I’ve never actually done a Kruger National Park visit. Need to get on to that one!4

Limited actual exercise today but I did close all my Apple rings. I chose to walk to my friends in the late afternoon instead of driving to get in the last bit needed to close them and to have something that resembles exercise listed for my day. It was dark when I came home so she dropped me off on her way to fetch her teenager.
Reasonable food choices but not great. All logged and under budget though, so no pass day needed. Today was a bit of a shopping spree as I needed some stuff for camping and decided to finally buy a couple of things I have wanted but have coped without. I’ve looked around so I knew the best value options but I still checked a few shops before buying. I also got a great deal on a pair of trousers. Normally super expensive but at only a third of the normal price I had to get them. They only had small and when I got home I can’t quite fasten them so they are now another motivation to drop the last of this weight.
Today’s adventure was visiting a local lighthouse and climbing to the top. It was great fun and we took lots of touristy photos in the area. It was quite windy and the stairs are tiny so it was a bit challenging but nothing too extreme. I’m half packed for camping and will sort out the rest in the morning before I get picked up!

Today was the funeral for my stepdad, and although I'm the first to admit that overeating didn't really make things feel any better I'm not beating myself up about it either. I try not to accept excuses normally because you can always find an excuse if you try hard enough - but this is on another level, especially as I couldn't attend in person but was watching the live streaming on my own.
Tomorrow is another and hopefully better day.10 -

I decided to try adding more veggies to my meals (the 50/50 plate method), my calories ended up being quite lower and I was much less hungry...why didn't I try this before?8 -

Contractor now all done tidied up yard a bit but focused on painting and replacing organizing the pantry it’s 12’x6’ long so I had much to do. Needless to say this was my walk today tracked and logged everything is done paint brush cleaned and drying and pantry along with kitchen organized. I think I am going to bed 😴6

Logged and under and 98 minutes of walking. I walked five miles, quickly, for another challenge and it did me in. My back is tight and my quads are sore, and my middle toe, on my right foot hurts, like it is bruised.5

I’ll be checking in every day and keeping up my healthy exercise and portions habit. I can’t track well as we travel along but I’ll do the best that I can. No Winner’s Circle for me, but Rose is happy...so that is winning too!9
