Share your NSVs, non-scale victories. What is working well for you?
What is making you feel better; or happier; or hopeful?

My day just started but I logged into post for Monday and saw that it's NSV day! Love reading these. I'll log back in later to account for the day.
My NSV is how second nature it has become to make healthy choices while away from home. I'm staying next to a hospital all week assisting someone who is doing daily medical tests. I now automatically take the stairs when I can, and grabbed sensible snacks to get me through the day. In the past I would have used a week like this as an excuse to eat junk food, rely on takeout, etc. I don't want to waste 5 pass days!!9 -
Nsv have been able to cope with extra hours at work, feeling fitter, healthier and happier, crave healthy foods
Exercise yes 40 min walk, 210 min cleaning
Tracking yes calories yes7 -
Today was the first work day with other people. It was weird after spending 6 months of just the 3 of us but with 6 people doing the work 2 of us normally do, we got so much more done! It was actually great fun having a few of our best volunteers with us. Still working on three teams and allowed to leave when we are finished, so no full days yet and only 4 day shifts once in 12 days. Today I worked mostly with the snakes but did get a quick swim with the turtles to fetch a rock from the bottom of the pool. We use it to hold a gate open and the wind blew it into the pool a while ago. Also got to work with our two stranded seals without having to rush as the other people were dealing with other duties that we would normally have to cover as well. I hit all my Apple rings during work so did some yin yoga for today’s exercise. Reasonable food choices and it is al logged and under budget.
My NSV is seeing my strength return. I still have a long way to go to get back to where I was pre 2019 drama but there is definite improvement. Also loving getting out and about more plus ocean swimming with spring starting here in the Southern Hemisphere.11 -

My NSV is that although I have experienced significant back pain during the last 3 weeks, I continued my active stretching and maintained full range of motion. In the past, when my lumbar pain spiked, my mobility and flexibility plummeted. For the last 3 days, I have discomfort but no pain. In addition, the healthy habits kept me from comforting myself with too much food.
I'm grateful to be with you UAC team members!10 -

I traveled back home today after visiting family. I am so glad I made a point to get my exercise in before the road trip. (20 min bike ride, then yoga.) I am home now and fighting the urge to stress eat. I stayed in my calorie range the whole trip, so I keep telling myself that I don't want to ruin it now. I think I will go to bed early and hopefully my brain will be back on track tomorrow.
I will owe you guys a NSV later. All I can think about is nacho's....but I am enjoying reading everybody else's.7 -

very strange day indeed for me (actually a few of these days now...) where I just don't have an appetite much of the day...; I'm not sick - truly...at least in the common way. I do have a mystery pain that doc is working to help me figure out (after I put my foot down today and insisted on researching and tests instead of just giving me a pill). Anywho - I'm a joyful and thankful person! However, commitment to weight loss and overall fitness is a commitment that is better in a shared group (kind of like a church family - but you guys are my fitness family). Having this group to confide in through this journey is like having a group of friends to visit with. That support is invaluable to me! I work from home, I homeschool one child(even when covid isn't around) and ya know...I'm good with the home life. However, in this fitness journey - you guys...and my online (and live when I'm ready to go back to that environment) fitness instructor are the ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS that I need.8 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, I did a ignite class.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes!5 -
Yes x3 though barely.
Right now, to be honest, my main victories are scale-based rather than NSVs. Due to lots of work I've had a harder time focusing on exercise. My walks are shorter and I've had a hard time committing to bodyweight exercises due to work. I hope to get back to this soon though!6 -

NSV #1:
I’ve created a system to create Balance in my life & Happiness & Peace.
The most amazing thing is after I implemented it, my appetite decreased, the quality of my food choices improved even further... amazing.
I now do a minimum of 15 minutes on 4 different activities.
Y yoga & upper body strength training alternating daily
M mindfulness guided visualizations
C cleaning/organizing/decluttering
A art/writing etc ie active creating.
The 15 minutes for each of these often expands to 30-45 mins, sometimes 1-2 hours for C, And sometimes Most of a day for A.
I knew I needed to develop other interests when I was losing weight. Having this loose structure makes me feel limber, peaceful, productive, and creative each night as my head hits the pillow.
NSV#2
Yesterday, my husband found some photos on his phone of me from March 2016. I am SO MUCH HEALTHIER Now. *happy tears*9 -
Pass day yesterday-are too much 🤦♀️
Yesx3 day today. Exercise was cleaning home for more than 30 mins.
My NSV is I’ve been trying to be more active through out the day. I fit in quick chores throughout the day like doing the dishes by hand/ decluttering or even just refilling the hand soap bottle...more steps through the day...and quick tasks off the to-do list. earlier my focus used to be just in how many minutes I did defined exercises for.7
