    @AnnofB you were going really strong 💪🏃‍♀️ on Friday!! Yay for you 😄🌼 .

    I am mostly 'walking' using the rebounder 2-3 times a day for short segments so that I can include some cardio as tolerated. I'm also doing other activities to stay active.

    September 1: 2 hours walking or standing portions of appointments and errands, shopping
    September 2: 45 minutes yard and garden.
    September 3: Easy, quiet, but busy day nevertheless.
    September 4: 20 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves
    September 5: 21 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves

    September 6: 14 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves
    September 7: 21 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves
    September 8: 21 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves
    September 9: 21 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) doing classic walk moves
    September 10: 60 minutes rebounder (divided sessions) & yard cleanup after rains
    September 11: 2 hours + walking/standing portions of errands & grocery shopping
    September 12: 2 1/2 hours + walking/standing portions of errands & house work

    @VeggieGirlforLife I do believe that I am enjoying using the rebounder because using the rebounder is easier on the joints. I have not been able to do hardly any cardio exercise for all of this year. I have been doing other things like yard/garden working, but that is not truly cardio at this time.

    You know how Leslie talks about how exercise making us feel happy with those endorphins being released ... well I have been missing that a whole lot. When I do try to walk for exercise either outside or an LS DVD on the floor or on the rebounder I just start the pain cycle again.

    So now I'm just doing LS classic moves as much as they can be done on the rebounder with out using the DVD for now, and plan to rebuild my stamina again. I'm currently doing this for only 5 minutes at a time with a couple of minutes cool down each time. My plan right now is to continue this 2 or 3 times a day for now. And see how much I can improve over time.

    It was fun and interesting to do an LS DVD while on the rebounder and you just might like it for added variety 😎 .

    @texasgardnr I sure do know how exercise releases the feel goods and I know when I've been missing them, too. I'm so glad to know you've found a way to get in a few minutes of moves on your rebounder. I hope you continue to improve your ability and time on it and that you enjoy it -- also that it doesn't cause you any pain.

    I have numerous issues with my feet, so I have used a rebounder before on some of Leslie's moves. I used it most often any time she would do a "boosted" walk or move. I could lightly jog or fast step on the rebounder instead of trying to do any higher impact moves on my hard floors. I had gotten away from using it as it bothered my dog somewhat when I was on there. So maybe this is something I will look into once I get my house back in shape after the bathroom remodel. Right now I have no room because I have various bathroom items in my workout space! :grimace:

    First LONG outdoor walk with my favorite walking buddy, the pup, and we did 5 miles enjoying some little snippets of foliage, cool weather (hat, gloves and a light jacket people!), and a slooooooooooooow pace cause he likes to stop and potty every 5 seconds (who am I kidding, so do I but only one of us gets to go every 5 minutes on a long walk!).

    My foot did start hurting a little on the last half mile (of the 100 minute walk!) and so I've got my toes up and resting. I am still hopeful I'll get a good hike and farmer's market in this weekend. I've got the pumpkins out in my house and spent yesterday cleaning for a few hours but didn't have the energy for anything more.

    Though its a little early, I'm making cinnamon coconut milk lattes every morning and enjoying a little leaf peeping this weekend so HAPPY FALL Y'ALL :smiley:

    @mypinkbikini - Great long walk! LOL about the potty thing. Hope resting your feet will take away that foot pain. Thank goodness for fall. And won't we all be thankful to say goodbye to 2020 when the time finally comes!

    No strength training the last two days - I had a dental implant placed on Thursday and wow, I have a swollen jaw and some pain going on. Oral surgeon said no strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours. I haven't felt much like it anyway, so other than some light walking, I've laid low. Today I sat on the porch and read a book for a few hours. I cannot remember the last time I took a relaxing day and didn't do much of anything - it was really nice.

    Got outdoors and hit up a farmers market. Suffering some allergy pain now. Just soaked in a salt bath at home for the first time at the rec of friends and felt pretty relaxing. Going to try a few of those weekly. Anyone else do salt soaks?

    Thanks @AnnofB - today has been a little better, when I continue the meds. I laid off for a bit and paid for it. I have some serious bruising that showed up last night late and had gotten darker today. Kinda looks like someone punched my jaw! :flushed:

    @mypinkbikini I have soaked my feet with Epson salts and it's very nice. Once I get my bathroom remodeled and have a decent tub for once, I will try doing a salt bath, too.

    I need a mental heath break. September has been crazy in my world. Yesterday my BFF’s Mom passed away rather unexpectedly. They all live in NJ so Im not there with them. Yesterday was also my wedding anniversary so it was a day full of mixed emotions. I need the rest of the month at least to recover.
    My heart hasn’t hurt like this in such a long time.

    Been pretty exhausted and working this week. Started strong averaging 6k steps a day but have fallen to 3k or so the past few days even though I'm moving every hour. Also overeating on calories and gaining weight. Just struggling a little this week. Going to refocus and try to get walking again everyday for the next few weeks, even if its just a short mile before or after work, parking farther, etc. Then I'm going to recommit to my calories each day and get back to losing in October. I did commit to maintaining in September and not pushing myself while I let my foot recover and I have done that but I need to start pushing again in October on both fronts.

    My body is just feeling it the last few days with nothing extra to give. Sigh.
