I'm struggling this morning. There are many gaps in the weigh-ins on the spreadsheet. Mission Slimpossibles - please get your act together! Trimstones - several misses, and a person who asked for a day change a week ago. If you have to take some time off as co-captain, please let me know! I do not mind going through another team chat to record weigh-ins as they come in while you are away or otherwise unable to record. But I do not enjoy having to do it all at once on Sunday morning, especially now that the MFP search function no longer works in the groups (grrrr, don't get me started). Sorry to be crabby, but it really helps if things are in order by Sunday mornings (8 am Eastern). I'm happy to catch the last few that weigh-in late during the night on Saturdays. I'm not happy having to trawl the entire week...
edit - I have just finished with Slimpossibles - one thing that might help a lot are some reminders about weigh-in days. New members especially need this - daily or every other day, give a heads-up to those coming next. It might help avoid having 10 NWIs in one week
So sorry @jugar !! Just getting back in the swing of things today. Had a family medical emergency over the course of four days. I should have made contact earlier but it was chaotic.1 -
Hey @jugar -
There's an issue with the percentage calculation in the spreadsheet for the Goal Zone section. While it works for the first week, the formula is incorrect for the following weeks (probably just a copy and pasting error).1 -
@Jugar - cherrymajoni has a lot going on this month and wishes to spend it in the "Team Support" section.
Thanks!1 -
Hi @jugar! 19shmoo69 has decided to leave the group. I figured this was going to happen but it is too bad. Also, just a reminder to move piqueaboo from Friday to Sunday as her weigh in day. Thanks!1

I know. I have to keep fixing this every month it seems. When I make a copy from the template, which I have checked a million times, it always seems to end up weird. Oh well! I'll keep looking for ways to make it work0 -

Captains! Please encourage your team to hop over and share their challenge ideas.
The Idea Lounge
is a place where we can come together to share our creative ideas and give our suggestions on how to make Fat2Fit the best challenge group on My Fitness Pal!
Challenges - Why challenges? There is nothing better to help keep the energy and commitment high, and the discouragement and staleness low. They are optional but really helpful. Tell us which ones you like, or what new ideas you'd like to see.
Suggestions - This is wide open! What would make F2F better? What bugs you? What works really well? Take some time to look around on other teams than your own, and if you see something you'd like your team to try, suggest it! Or if you think of ways we can improve communication, reward the right kind of progress, or make the community more welcoming and effective. Spill!

Can you move Mari to support for now? She is going through a difficult time right now and has to take some time off from the group. She may be on support through October. Thanks!0 -

No problem! I hope she's OK - it is crazy in France right now, and she has surgery coming up. Do you know when that is?0 -

@jugar @ annliz23 just posted her week 3 weigh in at 123 lbs and in doing so revealed her week 2 weight as 124 by saying she was down a pound. She was a NWI last week. I updated her weight. I'm not sure if I should have and will change it back if that's the case. I was also unsure if this would allow you to remove the NWI from her week 2 on the spreadsheet. Please let me know. Thanks!0

@jugar On TWNM we had a new member not show up to introduce herself or post her weigh-ins. Yesterday she did post, but before I fill her in on the correct posting format etc, could you see if she had been posting on the wrong team or anything like that. It's @ long_for_me

I will change last week's to a LWI with the new weight in place. the LWI notation is for people who weigh in after tallies are done, and they usually replace a NWI - so no problem! It is done.0 -

Can you excuse 888angie888 from last week’s weigh in. She wasn’t able to get into the community. Thanks!1 -

@jugar Is it possible to have the name column on the weight spreadsheet frozen so I can see the names when I scroll over to the end of the month, please? Alternatively, I can do it myself but don't want to mess with the spreadsheet without asking first.0

Sadly that would also freeze the starting weight and the first couple of columns of the step team and other areas, so I don't think it is an option. Please do not do this just on one team in any case - I'll try it out in the template, but I think it is best to just leave it as it is for right now. The name column is a courtesy for any team wanting to use it - if everyone does so, I might consider dividing the username cell into 2 so it could be there instead. I'll try that in the template too and see what looks best.1 -
@jugar
Hi! I have had one challenger that has technically not weighed in this month and she joined in September. She posted week1 that her scale had broke and I carried her starting weight over. She hasn’t posted since that 1 post. I messaged her last week and the scale is still broken. She hasn’t responded this week at all. Should we move her to either team support or the drop list? It is fictionreader91 and her weigh in day is Sunday.0 -

I will move her to the drop list. If she decides to come back and fully participate, she can always be moved back. You made a good try to get her back, and it sounds like she is not interested.1 -

Hi Beka, Did you celebrate April (her name not the monthas requested Sep 13th? Here's what I said: "@Beka3695Could you please add@goingape (April) to the congratulations list. She has now lost 60 pounds and also broke through to the 150s at 159.4 with a loss of 1.6 lbs last week." Thanks!

@Beka3695 Could you please celebrate Lenka @ lenka1 from team WNM who has just passed 20 lbs (current weight 151.2 and current total 20.8 lbs lost). Thanks!0

@1theresamcvean — we decided to celebrate monthly starting September. I think I posted back in the August thread.
Also, this will give folks the chance to “lock in” the weight and hopefully not float back up.
I do have her on my list to celebrate.
Also, I will go thru the spreadsheets in the next day or so for folks that have hit the 25/50/75/00 mark.
The ‘pounds lost’ are the ones I can’t find myself.
Thank you all for posting celebrations!

Thanks, Beka. I had forgotten about the monthly aspect. I looked back through the month and think I caught everything so far. I'll keep my eye out going forward.1
