    Welcome OCTOBER. my favorite month.
Lots of decisions to make today. Here it is. We’re supposed to go on a cruise Jan 2nd leaving San Juan going to Aruba, Bon Aires and Carasus. Do we go? Go ahead and make final payment and see what happens or scratch it ?

Got a letter from IRS getting audited for 2018. They think we only had 1 kid in college that year.

    Lou, praying for your parents.

    Good Morning BBB.
Lou - praying for your parents
Steph - condolences and sending hugs.
Bill - we are waiting for you to share the freest conversation.
Lee - I love the fishing pics - you look so happy.
Kelly - Not being a fan of cruises anyway I say plan a trip to Florida instead 😁
Sam - we will be turning on the pool heater soon - water temp is 85
Tom is heading up north for work - he will be gone two weeks - Jack and I will hold down the fort.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Mornin' BBB.

IRS audit...yikes. One of my irrational fears. The single biggest reason I have used an accountant for my taxes since I was in my 20's.

We have always avoided cruises before the pandemic and now I would avoid like the plague, because there is a plague.

Prayers continue for Lou's folks. Glad to hear your dad is out of the woods.

    Dog training today.

Love that Jack is blocking the door! Yes, when the fishing is good it is hard not to be happy. The salt air is invigorating as well.

    Morning~

I would definitely reconsider cruise. They're floating Petri dishes in normal conditions; definitely wouldn't do during a Global Pandemic. No way.

Is HJ blocking the door for Tom to leave? Haaa!

    Flu shot today. Ugh....

    C'mon, Friday!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • October? I guess fall is really here.
    • That picture of Jack reminds me of the saying, "Let sleeping dogs lie." He's content.
    • I am a fan of cruises. I wouldn't get on one now though. Just sayin'.
    • Braves came up on the right side of a long pitchers duel yesterday. Let's hope the Braves hitters have some fun today.
    • I'm off to help the church get ready for it's annual garage sale.
    • Continued prayers for your folks Lou.

Lots of uncertainty...I would probably postpone the cruise if they will refund.

It rained here nearly all day yesterday. Needed the moisture but now leaf season is practically over.

    Good morning.

I don't think you can pay me to go on a cruise right now. Or go through an audit for that matter.

I'm a CPA and also pay someone else to do my taxes.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Let's make it unanimous that a cruise during an ongoing pandemic is not something we would choose to do. We have reservations in Las Vegas for next June, but expect we will probably have to cancel them is things haven't improved far more than forecast.

    Morning BBB

Nice to sleep in a bit.

We're packed up ready to hit road to wedding pregame rehearsal, tux pick up,, hotel check in,, etc.. FOB is nervous in a proud way. Raining but tomorrow should be clear. Cool, frost overnight but sunny 50F for the 1pm I dos tomorrow.

Cancel cruise, I would too. We cancelled Jamaica with the kids in Feb. All inclusive resort had cutbacks so why pay for things omitted with distance rules....

Oct , please bring Wisc Indian summer mid month

Lou, hope Mom gets well Soon!

    Debate? What Debate?

Safe travels to the pin stripe artist from FL!

An accountant did our taxes too. He made 2 mistakes this year. We’re switching for sure.

Yep, I’ll be cancelling the cruise.

There was a time I enjoyed tax audits, today they do not have agents that know the tax code and it is hard to discuss issues with agents that do not know what they are talking about. Main problem is IRS starting salary is about half going rate for graduates, therefore IRS gets the culls. Kelly, write them a letter also check with DS's make sure neither filed a return claiming themselves.
They are claiming cruises are safe now, test everyone as they get on ship, issue is extrusions where one can pick something up; heard one cruise line required quarantine if passenger got off ship; some ports are not allowing any passengers off if anyone has reported to sick bay on that ship. There is no way I could talk Joanne into a cruise.
Hope wedding goes off without any hiccups
    Prayer continues for Lou's mom
Raine, look at a solar cover; one months utilities may pay for cover and it will keep water temp at days average high
Emmaus breakfast this morning, ran cards for local gym; company next few days, old neighbor whose husband passed away two weeks ago needed to get away from family. Guess I'm stuck at being cook.
Plus is arm and shoulder much better

Thank you Sam. Neither kid filed a return claiming themselves. Hope we’re all good now. Tax accountant seems to have it figured out.
