Weekend oh yeah baby!! Bring it.

Glad to see the shop is coming along.

I said HBD to Rita but then realized I was wrong. It’s the other woman in your life. Ha.

Busy day here. Cooking a meal for 8 people tonight and part of a meal for tomorrow.

This election is out of control. Doesn’t matter who’s declared the winner. The other party will be suing. Crazy.

    Not much else to report.

Steph. Praying for your sister abs family.

    I’ll cbl.

Oh btw, Dave. My grandmother lived to be 93 and lived on her own too. So blessed. I hope your mom had a great birthday. Does she live close to you?

    Good morning BBB crew.

It wasn't Rita's b-day (LOL). It was my mom's. She lives in Salem, Oregon, 160 miles south of us, in the house we moved to in 1959. My brother and sister both live in Salem, too. My mom comes from a family of long-lived women. Her mother lived to 98, as did both her grandmothers.

Have to have Rita at the hospital at 7:45, this morning. Cataract surgery is really quick, so we'll have to find a way to fill our time until she goes back to see her doctor in the afternoon. Covid and rainy, windy weather make killing time harder to do. We may just come home then drive all the way back.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I think I may have started the confusion yesterday when I said Happy birthday Mrs. Kuhns (as in Dave's Mom).
    • Best wishes Rita. May your surgery be routine and successful.
    • I know Tom is happy to have power in the shop. Those power tools don't work by themselves.
    • We're off on a motorbike ride today. Picked out a small town about 75 miles away that has a nice diner and off we go. Taking back roads all the way.
    • May your Thursday be grand!

Best wishes for a smooth procedure for Rita. It definitely is harder to kill time during covid.

Our first day as full time care takers. We will move the fish tank to our cottage today and just have to turn the heat up and put out the welcome signs for the incoming guests. Going to be sunny and 60 ish today so probabaly a hike until we reach the snow line. We do not have the right footwear for snow hiking.

We also booked a 6 day live aboard sailing lesson near Myrtle Beach in March. Tentative plan is to head there right after the new year.
