Happy Monday morning!
It's a new week, perfect for reflection, re-evaluation and a fresh start!
How have you been doing so far? What changes, if any, do you plan to make this week? Are you challenging yourself enough? Are you being honest with yourself? Are you proud of yourself for your dedication or is it time to push yourself a little more?
I'm feeling pretty good. I've stuck to my plan, added some more small challenges and have not had a single beer in 1 week with no cravings. I'm finally taking control and it feels great!
My week is planned, goals are set.
Today:
-run 1 mile (day 4 of my streak)
-swim (intervals)
-ride Westley, work Goose from the ground
-do some cleaning/organizing
What are your plans?

I'm planning to walk every day this week and ride my exercise bike at least 3 times
When I've lost a bit more weight I'd like to maybe go for a run5 -

Every time I start back up with running, I do run/walk. You could even start with 30 seconds of running, walk for 2 minutes...or whatever you're up to and build from there

My state is back in a lockdown, so gyms are closed so no trainer for me for at least 1 month. I am not going to let this distract me. I have some kettlebells and a weighted ball, so my plan is to do weight training during the same times that I would have gone to see my trainer.
Goals for today:
weight train
walk for at least 30 min
get water in
stretch for 15 minutes5 -

Whenever I start running I use a C25k app. I don't absolutely love running, I go through phases, I find signing up for a race really gets me motivated to keep running.4 -
absolutely agree @taxgirl11

My goals for this week:
- to only eat back 1/4-1/3 of the exercise calories and stop there
- ride bike 2x 30 minutes
- cook 2-3 vegan dishes to have enough leftovers for all week
I’m not a vegetarian but today I’m starting a 6 weeks vegan plan (to Christmas).
Did I mention how excited I am to do this? 🎉🎉4 -
@GabiV125 we're excited to have you here! What is the 6 week vegan plan?1

For my goals yesterday I stayed under calories, logged everything, and made my pie (I froze it for Thanksgiving) However, I went for a walk instead of doing strength training which is not good since I need to change it up. I also realized that I am eating too many carbs so I need to adjust my diet.
@MrsAcyprus2015 -So sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs to you and your family.
Goals for today
- Log and stay under calories
- Keep carbs under control
- Do strength training
- Drink water (at least 6 cups)
Have a Happy Monday Everyone.5 -

Good for you!!! 🌈🖤 Let us know how it goes2 -
Good afternoon!
Such a busy (and horrible) day at work so far. COVID really is not fun in healthcare right now. I'm going strong though and making it as good of a day as I can.
Goals for today:
- Stay under calorie budget
- Go to the gym (chest/shoulder day)
- Drink 65oz of water6 -
Met my husband for lunch today, so I ate more calories than I wanted too. Going to try and walk more than my regular mile to get some of it back.
Will fix a light dinner for us too.5 -
Hello all! My goals for this week are:
-Strength train 3x
-Cardio 1x
-Don't order food delivery or pick-up M-F
-Drink 9-12 cups water/ day
Today was a bit sedentary, and I didn't workout but I did make myself a salad and have been choosing healthy snacks, and have decided on a nutritious meal for dinner! Will also take my dog for a walk later on to get a few steps in.4 -
Sounds like we're off to a great start this week! 🤓 Good luck on all of your goals everyone 🌈🦋
Iota's rains began to hit this afternoon just as we were heading out for our sunset walk... I tried to do a Zumba video instead but I got bored after 5 mins and gave up 😬 my heart wasn't really in it, plus those chicas had WAY too much energy for me today 😆 but I did take a nice swim this afternoon and made it through Monday morning school madness alive 🌈🖤
Plus I made these "tofu pancakes" in the air fryer that were 🔥🔥🔥
🍻🍻 Cheers amigas2 -
@rayonrainbows I'd love to hear more about the tofu pancakes? Did you marinate it in something?
Great job showing up everyone! I'm so happy to have you all involved in this journey
It was a tough day today, but I finished the day getting in my run and swim. No beer, no chips.
Tomorrow is a new day!4 -
Migrane and cramps tonight 😫 with period. Still low key cleaned so I was off the couch for a bit. I could probably go more gung-ho in the next week but honestly consistency is my biggest problem so I'm proud for making an effort every day.
Goals tomorrow:
- go to yoga
- stay in calories count
- drink water4 -
@Katebook309yahoocom940 Yay for making the effort!! 🌈🏵️
@3greyhorses the tofu pancakes were more like tofu latke patties.
-1lb tofu
-1 cup flour
-1 cup diced onion
-1 cup diced peppers
-1 cup shredded carrots
-2 chia seed "eggs" (2 tbsp chia in 6 tbsp water)
-spices (garlic, cumin, pepper, italian blend, sage, condimento salt, etc)
Press into patties, spritz w oil and pop em in the air fryer for about 20 mins... With the right seasonings they would really resemble krab cakes (I think) 🌈 very yum and satisfying for a fried food craving at 120 calories each 🤓3 -
Just realized that I totally could have put those tofu veg latke in the waffle maker!! Next time 😆😆2
-
oooohh! @rayonrainbows thank you! I will definitely try that this week2
