Good morning!
I just want to express how grateful I am that you're all here and participating. You are helping me stay accountable and I truly hope you're getting something positive from the group

Good morning Peeps!!
I'm so happy to have joined this group. Thank you Paree! I have something to keep me accountable. Yesterday was a good day. Met all my daily goals. I did the first day of the C25K app and sprinted during the 1 min runs. It felt good. I haven't done the app in awhile.
Todays goals:
Get two walks in at work
Bootcamp after work
Track all food and stay under daily calorie goal
Oh I bought an air fryer a couple of weeks ago and I'm really enjoying using it. Made salmon in it last night and turned out really good.

Good morning everyone
Working towards a good day!
- finished my strength training this morning
- will take my dog on a long walk in the park
- meal prepped a spinach, wild rice, and sweet potato salad for lunch
- planned a dinner of stuffed peppers for dinner
- going to bed at a reasonable hour
I'm really trying to work toward incorporating more vegetables and some fruit into my diet!
These were my goals for the week:
- Strength train 3x (1 down/ 2 to go)
- Cardio 1x (none yet)
- Don't order food delivery or pick-up M-F (1 day down/ 4 to go)
- Drink 9-12 cups water/ day (M-9 cups/ 4 days to go)

I have been having trouble getting enough water the last few days so I'm going to really try to be better about being hydrated. I get so busy at work I forget to drink and then I'm trying to drink WAY too much water at the end of the day, ha-ha.
Goals for today:
- Stay under calorie budget
- Drink 65oz of water
- Complete a self care activity to help with stress

Good morning!
I am pretty impressed with myself yesterday. Since I wasn't able to see my trainer due to new shut downs, I used the limited amount of workout equipment I have at home and I was able to do a workout at home that was similar to what I do with my trainer. It made me feel good to realize that I can at least keep at my current strength levels while I wait for the gyms to reopen.
It's supposed to get windy and rainy later today, so my plan for today is to go out for a walk before the weather gets bad.

@3greyhorses yes, thanks for the group!!! 🌞 I swear y'all are the main reason I didn't go over my calories midnight snacking yesterday 😆 that was a close one!!
I might look into those yoga with Adrien vids cos I miiiight have convinced my partner to do a video with me today since it's raining. I'd like to get my stretch on if I'm also going to try day 1 of C25K today, or at least a circuit training session 🦋
@mrsshots2011 I got an air fryer a couple of months ago and I'm completely obsessed.. I haven't fried anything since I got it!!! Made some dumplings in there a few weeks ago OMG ❤️💜

@jaderbacon you might consider changing something up to encourage you to drink more water. For example I got a massive *kitten* mug that fits twice what my old mug used to hold, and I've started adding the tiniest amount of random flavorings to the water (some natural, some artificial).. do you bring a nalgene with you to work? One thing I've been trying to work on is doing something the moment I think of it if it'll only take a couple of minutes (drinking 10 sips of water would count as this). Otherwise I end up with crazy random to-do lists that start to get overwhelming 💐 enjoy your self-care!! Remember you ALWAYS deserve it 🌞🌈

Yesterday I managed to not go over my calories (somehow) and only eat half of the pizza I made for dinner 🤓 didn't get much exercise though bc I ran out of time and then it got dark and rainy and I got too lazy to finish my video
It's quite hard to motivate with all the winds and rain today...
My goals for today are
-make a big *kitten* soup
-either C25K day one or a body weight circuit vid
-yoga vid (convince partner Jamey to join me)
-practice making a seitán tofurkey... and not eat too much of it

@rayonrainbows I actually have a 32oz cup that I only use for water at work. I just am out of my office so often that I forget to drink. At home, I use MIO to flavor my water and that helps too. I don't mind water, honestly it's probably what I drink the most of anyways, but I am just slacking on hydration in general LOL. I wonder if there are any phone apps that are used for hydration that will remind me to stop and take a drink. I'll have to look!2

Today was a very windy and cold day. I mean howling wind and knocked down trash cans all day long. I walked my dog and overall I had more steps than Monday, but I ended up driving to the library (1.5 miles down the street) rather than walking as I planned. We have another walk in an hour and I think I’ll dress him up- he has short hair and shakes every few steps.
My goals this week, for Tue 11/17
- to only eat back 1/4-1/3 of the exercise calories and stop there ✅, 2/7
- ride bike 2x 30 minutes, ❌, 0/2
My 3rd was to cook/eat vegan food but I’ll do it every day anyway so I’ll just put a random act I do for the day and helps in this journey
- did leg exercises today in my lunch break2 -
Ended up switching today to a swim day and will get my 3.5 mile run in tomorrow. I did run 1 mile to continue with my streak. Pretty good food choices and tracked everything. Ate back a few too many calories, but No beer or chips.
