hello, I'm new

I am 72 young female and do Tai Chi regularly four times a week. I went to my local YMCA yesterday to learn how to use the "machines" to build muscle. I am active and garden as well as work with my therapy dogs(Milo & Ru) on a regular basis. I can't say that working on the machines was my most favorite-tist activity but I am going to make a promise to go twice a week to start until the end of December. I think I can live with that decision and now that I have put it into the cyber world, I feel more motivated to live up to my promise to myself. I am hoping as a newbie to learn more about strength training from this group. So HELLO from Florida.
