Nothing that counts as actual exercise but I closed all three of my Apple rings and got over 10000 steps. Food logged and under budget including the milkshake I got with my volunteer who worked hard while I drove the interns across town for training, it ended up being over an hour round trip while she prepped all the fish for the feeds.
It’s been a long day and I’m tired. At least my colleague is feeling better so she will be back at work on Tuesday and I can take that day off before we work together from Wednesday till Sunday, while everyone else is off! One more week until our shift is over!9 -

Yesterday's protein macro ended up being 18%. Tried to make up for it with better eating today because I had a blood donation scheduled in the early afternoon. I made sure to exercise beforehand (because it's contraindicated after the donation for ~24 hours). And, I managed to still walk 12k+ steps today (not calculated in today's calorie budget). So a good day but I am pooped.7 -
Had a nice Sunday actually stayed in bed a while longer then usual and none of the dogs bothered me!
I went for a nice walk this afternoon light snow falling the village was so quiet and peaceful then spin this evening and some knee work. Tomorrow starts a 100 day 100 mile winter challenge in our area you can walk run spin ski snowshoe whatever you want as long as it counts mileage and it will end the first day of Spring maybe this will help winter go faster will keep you all posted7 -
Though I know weight numbers are not the primary focus for us here in the UAC, I want to share that for November (a fairly challenging calorie month) I managed to get rid of 7.2 pounds, and for the October Challenge another -5.0. I am now weighing slightly less than October 2019, which seems like a miracle. Target weight is in sight (129-130 – weight at my nephew’s May 2019 wedding) and doable in the next couple months. I am grateful for the results. Also notable for the November UAC, I entered and walk/ran a virtual 5K. I looked at the results and I came in 154/357 for total entries, 87/234 female, and 19/87 over 50 female. I would have been happy if I even came in last, because I entered. Being in the top 50% is super motivating even though I know this kind of race is not full of competitive runners.
So now for my December UAC. I am starting by raising my daily target calories by 50, and will be re-evaluating this every 10 days, as I want to start easing into my eventual maintenance calories. I don’t want to get go from lower calories to higher calories in a single day. I will be trying my best for the Winner’s circle, but need to be realistic and will at least commit to showing up daily and aiming to be a champion and aim to clean off 2 more pounds during December. Then, during my next 9 days in the Keys, I plan to walk/run to Sombrero Beach and even try to get you a sunrise photo (will take some planning ) and get back home. Google maps claims the distance is 3.3 miles each way. At for the rest of the month, my brain can only cope with planning til the 12th. Will regroup again once up north again.
BTW in November, I did not opt for eating back my “exercise” calories like I had planned. My problem with the method of eating back each day’s exercise calories is that that calorie number not compatible with advance planning and tracking, and I like to plan and pre-track my days. So this is the reason I am going try upping my planned daily calories instead and that way I can continue with the pre-tracking that works well for me.

@snowshoe072 that's a great idea! 100 day 100 mile challenge! Counting down the days until Spring!! Whoo hoo! Lol. I had been planning some goals for 2021 recently and one of them is to walk 2021 miles in 2021.... which is over 4million steps! That will average out to about 169 miles per month!

Today was a TOTAL REST day. I was going to try to do 20 mins on the rebounder but my knee has been hurting me the last couple of days and I'm actually TIRED today... so I decided to do a total rest day. In fact, as I type this (approx 2 hours before bedtime), I only have 2400 steps!
I did drink plenty of water today, didn't really eat that much, and took a 2 hour nap! My kind of Sunday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.7 -
