Exercise: active stretches start the day at 15-20 minutes, then an evening stroll with Rose to see the Christmas lights on homes in the desert. It was so wonderful to walk outside for over 45 minutes during a December evening.

@RangerRickL 'winters' in the desert are beautiful. Before moving we lived in Vegas for a bit. Unfortunately that was in July/aug/sept so not quite as enjoyable.2

Another super busy day and not much time for exercise. But I think that should be the hardest few days of the month for me as I don't have any more "dinners" or Christmas parties this month. I won the Christmas Trivia Game that we played at the party, and the PRIZE was a box full of homemade Christmas cookies!! OH NO!!!!! Lol. I gave about half of them away to the other guests, and gave the remainder to my hubby and asked him to please HIDE them once we got home.5 -
@Mrs_Hoffer I think you are doing great but I have to ask "where do you live in the world that you are still having normal Xmas parties?"1

The day was a blur. I know I started with a short yoga session on the roof but then it got crazy busy. Including taking two seal pups to the vet with abscess under their chins. Good thing I’m not squeamish because we got covered in the pus that came out. I do know that I was in bed with the light out before the sun set, which is before 19:30 at the moment. Didn’t make it to kids Jiu Jitsu as I was at the vet covered in pus.
It’s most definitely crazy season!5 -

Felt like poop - too little sleep. Using 4 passes by now. As for UAC goals: met all! Covinced myself to do a 30 min HIIT workout, ate almost all calories, but hey, no more! 🤷♀️4

Happily, it really rained today. When we left here in late spring of 2020, the desert flowering season had been beautiful. Unfortunately, for two years they have not received the usual summer monsoon rains. The desert plants look dead and dying, but today, there was a significant rain. At a minimum, this will trigger the 30 day desert grass to grow.2 -
@Dory)_42, Thank God for you! You are the only one we know who can cheerfully report on being 'covered' with seal pus!
Bless you!

It was a temporary situation for me but despite the trauma of the situation for the poor puppies, I’m sure they felt better afterwards. The one has two abscesses, one in either side of his throat, it must have been very uncomfortable for him. If they had not been stranded, the infection would probably have killed them. Pus is a small price for me to pay for theirs lives.3 -
Well now! This day certainly initiated a rollercoaster of emotions from baked goods to animal chin pus. Welp, here's my late entry...

Turned out that incidental eating required a lot of intentional exercise to 'earn' the required calories today. I
So true....
Incidental eating needs intentional exercise, else you will be knock off your goals.
Incidental exercises supports intentional eating to achieve your goals.0 -
