I’m stating us off.
Got a 18# turkey I need to get into the oven. It’s a fresh one. Never had that before.
My mom is very cautious which I’m happy about as has decided to come but eat in the kitchen and wear her mask the entire time. Ok with me.
Probably get down the Christmas decorations after lunch since we will have extra hands to help.

Same old thing, today: virtual church followed by a day in the shop and watching whatever on TV - football etc. Seahawks already played and the games they are showing here don't really interest me.
In restaurant dining has been banned again, here, so I ordered take-out last night. We try to help out local small businesses as much as we can. I expect out Christmas shopping will include several gift cards for small, local retailers, too.0 -

Well Babe had a pretty good run but did not get called back to the 5th and final series. Billy's other dog, Malachy, did not make it to the 5th series either. Heartbreaking for Billy. He had his hopes really high with both dogs running so well.
I'm disappointed of course, but I really feel bad for Billy. He put his heart and soul, not to mention a lot of money (including some of mine), into going to the National this year.
Working on the honey-do list. Prepping for hosting Thanksgiving.
Smoked some pheasant and chicken on the new pellet grill smoker last night. Basically just a test run before doing the Thanksgiving turkey on it. Anyone ever spatchcock a turkey for smoking/grilling? It will speed up the cooking time. Am planning on brining the turkey as well.
Steph, extra work should earn you extra wages.

I'm battling winery delivery team.....ordered 6 bottles of replacement Library Reserve 2015 Octagon. 6 bottles of 2016 showed up. Uhmmmm HELL no! They said sorry and will try to find them and if not refund me. I loathe incompetence!

How all.
Had a rough night last night. My back has been sore for the last week or so. Yesterday I spent too much time in the hot tub with too little food. Passed out in the shower and Ron had to wake me up and haul me to bed. Still a little punky today but getting better.
Laundry is in tap today but we will save cleaning cottages for tomorrow.0 -
