Good morning gentlemen.
Back to my 4 a.m. wakeup. So it goes.
We're going over to our son's house at noon tomorrow, so I'll bake the pumpkin pie in the morning. I'll make sweet corn pudding today, that we'll reheat for dinner tomorrow. Those were the requests from our daughter-in-law.
More cold rain, today, but I think Rita and I will get out for a walk anyway. The liberating power of Goretex.0 -
Got BP monitor checked by nurse yesterday and it was accurate. My pressure was 179/85 on hers and 184/81 on mine. That’s quite high, of course, but at home it’s usually been 121/65 or thereabouts. Nurse was going to consult with PCP for a recommendation. I see my cardiologist in 2 weeks and will ask his opinion also. I think I should maybe monitor it daily and report that to the doctor. If it’s only high when I am in the doctors office that shouldn’t be a problem. Not keen on taking BP meds. (Nurse was gorgeous blonde, maybe why BP high?)
Cold 22° and dreary clouds here. Have been reading Ham Radio License book and looking forward to 3-hour classes Mon-Thurs next week. Hopefully take the test afterwards and then... not sure what I’ll do with it. There are local clubs that meet on Zoom nowadays.

Good Morning!
Mike, keep an eye on that BP, and on that nurse! That sounds fun with the Ham Radio. I hope that you have fun, and that you learn a lot!
Short day at work today. We are out at 11:30. A lot of ground to cover this morning, but we'll get there. I'm not sure what is on tap for this afternoon, other than cleaning my smoker for tomorrow. It is hard for me to get my hands around that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Wow.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning
Sounds like we understand Mikes BP readings at the Drs office now.
Need to be productive today but this sore ankle is making it challenging. Heat and rest help per my PT yesterday. But rest isn’t going to get things done. Planning meal prep while resting, cleaning otherwise. Lots to do. There will be coffee.0
