Good morning BBB crew. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Baking this morning, before heading over to son's house at noon.

    Morning BBB crew.

I also am so thankful for all of you. Many days you are the only people I talk to besides Ron.😜

We are having minute steaks and mashed potatoes. I might reheat the turkey Pie the neighbor gave us for me and sweet peas.

My family celebrating Christmas today. They tried to facetime us last night but dad has terrible connection so it was just a call.

    Happy Thanksgiving BBB!

That avatar really does look like you, Skip. LOL.

DW is making green bean casserole. Canned cranberry sauce will do in a pinch. Never had boston brown bread, how is it served?

Smoking a brined and spatchcocked organic bird with apple wood. Smoked a brisket yesterday for 10 hours, will warm up today to have with the turkey.

Photos of food to follow. Probably on a separate thread.

Brown Bread - typically warmed in oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes; cut in 1" thick servings; fresh whipped butter. MONEY!

In a pinch = you can wrap in a paper towel thats been moistened and microwave on high for 45sec to a minute.

OK, Skip, in our house the Boston Brown Bread was warmed the cut into slices and spread with cream cheese.

Happy Thanksgiving my BBB Friends. I have a ton to be thankful for including my BBB family but must confess I'm bummed that the Steelers / Ravens game scheduled for today has been postponed.

What in the world is a spatchcocked bird? You mention it the other day. I thought it was a spelling error

This is what mine looked like after carving for the table. Perfectly done and quite tasty. Spatchcocking reduces cooking time in half and all the parts are evenly done.

Thanks Lee. I sent the link to my ds2. He’s great at smoking.
