Spend evening w/ friends enjoying some wine and darts.

Watched a Netflix comedy special on Kevin Hart (not really "G" rated).....

Today is surfing the net for things I don't need and trying to convince the bride to put up our tree.

Wine with neighbors tonight.

Ugh. Not enough people to eat it.

New pellet grill did a very nice job with brisket and turkey. Dinner was on time and perfectly cooked and warm and still warm.

It was hard to get up and move this morning though.

Apparently every place that sells coffee nearby - other than Whataburger - is taking the day off today. 🙄

Family celebrated Christmas yesterday since they all recently had covid and are now negative they decided to get together. 8 yo nephew got a travel Dunkin mug and sipped out if it all day. 😀

20 yo niece announced her upcoming February wedding. I don't support it but I support her. She has huge abandonment issues from birth parents and joined our family at 4. I always think her social development is 4 years behind so I think she is just too immature to make such a huge life decision. Plus boy has a baby and no job. She wants her mom to buy her a $1300 dress.

Good morning BBB crew.

Thanksgiving was wonderful for our little clan. It was just six of us, including the two grandkids. We had a long Zoom link up with DDIL's parents and sister while we ate dessert. We brought DGS home with us and will have him for the weekend. His parents will be in the mountains skiing (DGD was dropped off with her aunt).

I will probably string the outside Christmas lights today or tomorrow, since the weather should be fairly dry. DW says she won't put up the tree because she is in the middle of her cataract stuff (second eye surgery is on the 10th). This will be the second year in a row that medical procedures will keep us from having a tree at Christmas. Last year it was spinal fusion. I am forbidden to do the tree setup.

Good morning BBB Friends.

• We survived the holiday here too. Quiet day with a nice meal. I see plenty of turkey sandwiches in our future.
• Doing a little internet shopping but not much.
• Covid hit our church so we are locking down. There will will only be 3 of us in the sanctuary on Sunday. Our Assoc. Pastor, the sound guy and me running the TV cameras. 'Cmon vaccine.
• Happiness is a new day bed cover.

Good everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, us too. The Tennessee Salt Caramel whiskey was pretty good as well. Maddie dog had turkey too!

So nice our tree and decorations are up.

No one wants anything for Christmas so no black Friday shopping yay!

May take a walk and read today, thats all I got planned. Tomorrow I'm going with ds2 to his jeweler, his custom engagement ring mock up ready for approval!

Thats young Steph, but what can ya do but be supportive and you and Ron are good role models...

Gf back at her jealous crap. I’m over it. I got so ticked. It’s over Christmas stockings now. According to her, she and the new gf shouldn’t have matching ones and the new gf shouldn’t even get one yet.
My response was this,”. No they aren’t matching since you have different names.” I then exited the room. Ds was outside. He missed it. I’m still thinking on how to handle the stupidity.

Our tree is up and I think it’s the most beautiful tree we’ve ever had. No joke.

Tomorrow I need to clean abs finish up my decorations. Busy day. Doing all that one handed will take most of the day!!

Glad everyone survived yesterday.
