    Good Morning BBB.
Neither Tom nor I have been able to sleep well. I figured I may as well get up and work.
Tom and a friend have been constructing the second floor for his shop office - it is above the bathroom and workout area - perfect Thanksgiving project.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Up early here too.

Headed out to go meet the boys for coffee that I used to run with.

Slow day. Been enjoying the respite and down time.

    Cheers

    Good morning BBB crew.

I'm up early, but have nothing at all to do except log in with friends. Just my usual 3:30 wakeup.

I put up all the outside lights requiring a ladder, yesterday. That's my role. I still need to get down one box of decorations that includes a wreath DW wants for the front door. Other than that, it's just salute smartly and follow orders. I do hope to get out to the shop for a while. I have had a project on the lathe for several days, waiting for me to get back to work.

    Morning BBB

Ordered our Christmas cards yesterday and need to write up a letter soon. I didn't send one last year as most people I send one to are on FB and know what is up with us. Will mail from Bethlehem which is the next town over. :)

I didn't do much shopping. We don't do any gifts anymore (except stocks for the kids) but I did finally order the travel skirt I have been eyeing with a 20% off and free shipping. We do have a few things in our Amazon cart we should order while we still have a good place to get packages.

Plus we will need new phones probably soon. Have the pixel 2 and they will stop getting updates soon. Ron is in charge of that. I don't really care.. I just want a mid size phone with a great camera and a decent battery life. Most new phones will give me that.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • It appears insomnia is running rampant through BBB. Lee is the only one with a good excuse. He has to take care of our critters.
    • We are doing a virtual service at church tomorrow. There will only be 4 of us in the sanctuary. Our new Associate Pastor is leading worship and it was obvious he was nervous so I went in and walked through it with him yesterday afternoon. I felt like a director.
    • I have a string of packages coming from Lands End in your neck of the woods Mary.
    • I plan to order crossbars for the CR-V today. Probably should wash it too. We are supposed to hit 70° this afternoon and then a cold spell is coming in.
    • I have to say, the turkey sliders (on dinner rolls) were excellent yesterday.

    Good morning BBB

I slept til 8am fie a change, but was up til 1am binge watching the entire season 1 of Virgin River. Tonite, season 2 woohoo, oh the magical pandemic life we lead.

Hot turkey and gravy on leftover rolls and some sides was our dinner.

House decor looks great Kelly, but maybe neither gf gets a stocking this year, lol.

I'm off with ds2 to view the casting of his custom engagement ring and collect my leftover diamonds, should be fun! Its in a cute little town called Cedarburg WI that has a downtown lined with little shops all decorated for the holidays. Maybe I will buy lunch, too. Tom says he's coming too, "that he needs to meet this guy"... I about spit my drink out in surprise on that one. Meanwhile, he's still in bed lol. I hear him stirring now.

Have a good day BBB, careful up on those ladders hanging lights!

    Good Afternoon,
Sunny passed over Rainbow Bridge this morning, will be greatly missed.
Do not believe we will get another pet
Decorations look great Kelly, I'm just not in mood
Kids brought all decorations up Thursday afternoon, guess we need to get busy putting up
We still have enough leftovers for a couple of meals after sending lots home with kids

Sincerest condolences on your loss of Sunny, Sam. Pets provide us with so much love and humor and their loss can be crushing, even when they have live a long and happy life. Prayers for you, DW, and DMIL.

We’ve sorrow enough in the natural way,
When it comes to burying Christian clay.
Our loves are not given, but only lent,
At compound interest of cent per cent.
Though it is not always the case, I believe,
That the longer we’ve kept ’em, the more do we grieve:
For, when debts are payable, right or wrong,
A short-time loan is as bad as a long—
So why in—Heaven (before we are there)
Should we give our hearts to a dog to tear?

    R.K.
