Good morning, folks.
The dishwasher install yesterday was a bust. They broke the hot water valve and left us without hot water in the kitchen.
So, on Thursday the association has to turn water off to the entire building while the valves are replaced. Then we have to wait a couple more weeks for the installers to come back out.
Remember all that money we saved on flooring?

It's 30 degrees here, too, but our high might just be in the 40s. Depends on when the fog clears out.
Rita and I took a walk at a wildlife refuge, yesterday morning, then I walked another 5 miles in the afternoon. Got to take advantage of sunshine this time of year.0 -

- Yep, 28° at my house this morning. Fortunately the wind died down so it's bearable.
- Tough story on the dishwasher Lou. So frustrating. I'm sure you will be the talk of the condo on Thursday.
- Sam is correct about the relentless political ads for our two Senators seats. The ad money spent could alleviate world hunger.
- Well, I need to go... well, I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I'll do it well.

HOA dues due12/4 and a load of unpaid remain after I achieve a record 100% paid in 2020. See I give a covid19 one month extension and look what happens, slaps desk! Only one board nomination form filled in too, for Me! And I'm not even re-running!!!! Gezz people.get with the program!!
My prime deliveries are funneling onto the porch, glad I'm home. Brought myself some new walking sneakers too.

In our neighborhood, the covenants state that delinquent dues are charged interest, at 9 percent per year. When three months in arears a lien is placed against the property. The owner will have to clear that lien if the house is ever sold, so that 9 percent is the best investment our association can make.

My friends stepdaughter in law has covid. All the symptoms. My friends husband wants to go and visit his son and dil Saturday. They are in a fight.
Her husband thinks it’s no big deal. My friend is sensible. “ I don’t want it. I don’t want you to get it and I don’t want to give it to anyone. “. The guy is a complete moron who is very selfish in his thinking.0 -
Kelly - suspect there are SEVERAL other instances of the same out there! People, by far and large, are not smart and VERY selfish in their thinking/actions!
Don't buy into the hype that this is not a real pandemic emergency.....it is! The numbers and science do not lie.
