Happy Saturday!
Today:
Run 1 mile
Make riding a priority! Not only do I need to be in shape for next summer's show season, but so do my ponies The best way to get riding-fit is to actually ride!
Have a great day everyone!

Happy Saturday!
Weekends are always the hardest for me, which is when my husband is home. Plus I'm not super busy all day and that lets the boredom eating strike. Which, he wants to go get Thai food for lunch today and get some shopping done. (I do LOVE Thai food!)
Goals for today:
- Stay under calories
- Drink 64oz of water4 -
@jaderbacon it's the same for me! The hubby is home and he does the cooking...and it's delish! I had Chinese food last night. I immediately took out half of my order, put it on a small plate and put the rest in the fridge to save for today. Enjoy the Thai food, maybe just a smaller portion??4

Hola amigas ππ
I didn't check in yesterday but I had a great day. Reading back over everyone's check-ins from yesterday it looks like y'all had a great day too ππ
I slept in til 11 then by the time I woke up, made brekkie, and ate I was go go go all day. Took a bike ride then got home and left for a walk into town. I weighed myself at the two farmacies I've found with semi-consistent scales, and they said 184 & 186, which puts me 5 lbs down from a week and a half ago!! I'm not going to officially change my weight on here tho til I go to the market town on Tuesday because I trust their scale the best but I'm feeling really happy about it ππ
Anyway had a beer on the beach yesterday and got some groceries and carried them home. Had about 20 mins to pull up 7 hrs worth of lesson plans and cram leftover homemade sushi in my mouth before I had to teach from 6pm-1am with no breaks. The busyness is helpful for calories because I only finished one sushi roll before I had to start, and despite trying to sneak a bite here and there I didn't finish, and of course I wasn't in the mood to finish the food at 1am after it had been sitting out for 7 hrs. So anyway did great on calories.
Today's another busy day. Teach from 9am-2pm (just had a cancelled class though which is why I'm here haha) then from 7pm-1am. I only got about 4.5 hrs of sleep last night, so I reallyyyy want to not take a nap this afternoon and just push through and get some exercise in instead. But we'll see hahah
Today's goals are simple: bike ride, sunset walk, under on calories β¨β¨
Have a great start to your weekend everyone!!! ππ4 -
As the say goes "Man Plans. God laughs." I posted yesterday about my 300k step challenge for the month of December, and how I was planning on getting 13k steps in yesterday. Well, yesterday morning I tripped on a stone step in my backyard and now I have a sprained ankle. So, yesterday, and all day today, I am on on the couch icing and elevating my foot.
Yesterday all I wanted to do was snack, because I was so bored just sitting on the couch and watching tv, but my husband refused to get me anymore snacks, and I was able to stay within my calories.
My ankle is starting to feel a little better, I was able to put some weight on my sprained foot for a couple of steps this morning, so there is some progress. My goal today is to continue to rest, eat within my calories, and get my water in.5 -

@taxgirl1 ππ nooo!!!!
Ah *kitten* I'm so sorry, what a bummer I'm no stranger to foot/ankle problems. I broke my ankle at 12 skateboarding, and they've been sensitive since.. Every couple of years it seems I sprain or twist my ankle, and I never give myself enough time to fully heal because I'm impatient and I get antsy.
Please take all the rest you need so you can properly heal. There are some great Youtube videos if you search with some seated exercises that you can do in the meantime to keep the fitness up and the boredom down.
Good on your supportive hubby for not bringing you more snacks! My partner would have been making me extra stuff drinks π€£π
Hope you heal quickly!! ππ€2 -

@taxgirl1 - sorry about your ankle. Be patient with yourself, this is the only body you got- take all the time you need to heal.
Today was a lazy day, and frankly I canβt remember the last time I got one like this. It was cold and windy and just had 3 dog walks .
Speaking of husbands, mine got himself a smoker over a week now and he calls or texts me every day with a new idea of what he can put in it. I have 3 more weeks of no meat, so I have to say βno, thank you β just 200 more times.3
